Timely for Holidays – Friday November 16
\nWith fingers crossed and a hopeful plea for favorable weather, members of the Clinton County Arts Council are preparing for their second wine tasting event at \u201cCork and Bottle Winery\u201d in DeWitt.
\nThe group\u2019s initial tasting occasion, earlier this year, was threatened by a mid-winter snowstorm that had coordinators on edge until a festive crowd of wine enthusiasts ensured the venture wholly successful.
\nIn an effort to lessen the chances for a weather challenge, the gathering has been moved from February to a Friday November 16 date, just in time to prepare the wine rack for the holiday season.
\nThe evening will begin at 6:30 pm, and sampling of seven wines \u2013 along with appetizers and chocolates \u2013 will be offered for the ensuing two hours.
\nTickets for the experience \u2013 which can be purchased at the Gallery – are $15.00 per person, and everyone will depart with a souvenir wine glass.
\n\u201cWe were extremely pleased with our first tasting,\u201d commented Michael Muehlenbeck, Arts Council Director, \u201cand we received many favorable comments on the event and location. The staff at Cork and Bottle was very professional and helpful in describing the varieties offered during the evening. I\u2019m certain the evening will be delightful for all.\u201d
