Pung, David Clark Hilton, William Douglas Rice<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Paige Marie McGinnis<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/mcginnis_paige.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Paige Marie McGinnis, age 13 of Ovid passed away Saturday February 2, 2013.<br \/>\nA mass of Christian burial will be held 10am Saturday, February 9, 2013 at St. Paul Catholic Church with Fr. Michel O&#8217;Brien officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ovid. The family will receive friends at <a href=\"http:\/\/http:\/\/www.nelson-house.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Nelson-House Funeral Home<\/a> on Friday from 2 to 8 pm with a rosary prayed at 7pm.<br \/>\nPaige was born in Hanau, Germany and affectionately nicknamed &#8220;Peanut&#8221; since her birth on October 25, 1999 by her loving family and parents Daniel and Misty (Baumert) McGinnis. She attended E.E. Knight Elementary School in Ovid and was a member of St. Paul Catholic Church. Paige enjoyed cheerleading, reading, music and dancing. She was a little &#8220;social bug&#8221; and looked forward to making new friends; she was never afraid to talk to anyone. Paige loved just being a kid; she knew when to be a little lady and when to play hard.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her parents Daniel and Misty; brother Dillan; grandparents Steven (Donna Fruchey) McGinnis, Deborah (Dan) Andrews and Bob (Diane) Baumert; great-grandparents Juanita (Everett) McGinnis, Fred (Mary) Matthews, Mary (Leo) Andrews and Agatha Baumert; many aunts, uncles, cousins and other loving family and friends. Paige is predeceased by her great-grandparents Milan (Elaine) Lueschen and Earl Baumert; aunt Tracey Baumert; uncle Dominic Baumert.<br \/>\nMemorial contributions are suggested to the family.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Robert Glenn Tipton<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/tipton_robert.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Robert Glenn Tipton passed away on February 5, 2013 at the age of 72. Born, August 10, 1940, in Clinton County, Michigan, he was the son of John and Margaret (Townsend) Tipton. Robert married Diane (Bishop) on July 11, 1964 in Maple Rapids and she survives him.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are his children, Cristina (Harry) Beaugez of Navarre, FL, Robert Tipton of Maple Rapids, Kimberly Thelen of Maple Rapids, Sonya (Timothy) Devereaux of Maple Rapids, grandchildren, Tyler, Trevor (Becky), and Taylor Beaugez, Logan (Jeremy) Price, Riley, and Ross (Loren) Thelen, Scottie (Jason) Barrett, Samantha and Sara Tipton, great grandchildren, Lillian Beaugez, Alexus, Brienna and Makalah Price, Ava and Track Thelen, and Maverick Barrett.<br \/>\nRobert was preceded in death by his parents, and brother, John Tipton.<br \/>\nA Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday February 9, 2013 with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating, at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns. Pung<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/pung_daria.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Daria M. Pung passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013 at the age of 81, St. Johns, Michigan. Daria was born January 12, 1932 in Westphalia, Michigan to William and Frances (Halfman) Rademacher. Daria was a Past President of the Altar Society and member of the Sanctuary Committee at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns. She married Mark H. Pung in Westphalia on May 5, 1951 and he survives her.<br \/>\nAlso surviving are her daughter, Patricia A. Pung and son, Glenn W. (Ava Jo) Pung; 5 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her sisters, Antionette Hafner, Agatha (Jim) Feldpausch and Eugenia (Alban) Arens; brother, Dennis (Mary Lou) Rademacher and sisters-in-law, Mary and Sally. Daria was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Margaret and brothers, Roderick, Eldred and Harold Rademacher.<br \/>\nA Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 A.M. Tuesday February 5, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 109 Linden Ave., St. Johns, Michigan followed by burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams presiding. Daria\u2019s family will receive friends at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. with a vigil service at 7 P.M. on Monday. A memorial contribution will be made to a charity of her family\u2019s choice.<br \/>\nThe family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>David Clark Hilton<\/strong><br \/>\nDavid Clark Hilton, age 82, of Ovid, Michigan passed away Thursday, January 31, 2013 at his home.<br \/>\nThere will be no Services.<br \/>\nDavid was born in Pontiac, Michigan on November 5, 1930, the son of Hubert McKinley and Norma Marie (Luckey) Hilton. He was a conductor for Grand Trunk Railroad. He resided most of his life in Ovid, Michigan. He was a Life Member of the National Model Railroad Association, Inc. and the United Transportation Union.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his brother L. Paige Hilton of Saginaw, MI.<br \/>\nThe family is being served by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smith Family Funeral Homes<\/a> Elsie, Michigan.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>William Douglas Rice<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/rice_douglas.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>William Douglas Rice, 72 died on Thursday, January 31, 2013 at Sparrow Hospital. He was born on March 7, 1940 in St. Johns, MI the son of William C. and Ruby K, (Birkey) Rice. He graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in 1958, married Marilyn Lietzke on Oct 3, 1959 and had four sons.<br \/>\nDouglas worked with his father as a milk delivery man until January 1965 when Valley Side Dairy Farm was sold. He then obtained employment from Oldsmobile in Lansing, MI as a production worker. In 1976 he qualified as a skilled tradesman and continued work as a Millwright. He remained in this capacity until he retired from General Motors in August 2006. He was a member of the Michigan Republican Party, loved tractors, riding motorcycles, flying, boating, water skiing and caring for animals.<br \/>\nDoug is survived by his sons, David (Nelly) Rice of Murfreesboro, TN, Jeffrey (Ruth) Rice of Key West, FL, Calvin (Susan) Rice of Apex, NC, and Graham (Gina) Rice of Laingsburg, MI; seven grandchildren Jay (25), Jennilyn (23), Jan Rey (21), Brydon (21), Alexis (17), Nicholas (14), and Raffael (4); and brother Jon (Loraine) Rice of Portland, MI.<br \/>\nMemorial services will be held at The Church oIThe Living Word, 1100 N. Ovid Rd., Ovid, MI at 11:00 A.M. on Monday, February 4, 2013 with Pastor Audle Clairmont presiding. The family will receive friends and relatives at the church beginning at 9:30 A.M. until service time.
