March Is Reading Month and more
\nMarch Is Reading Month “You Can’t Catch Me” <\/strong>
\nJoin us in our celebration of reading during the month of March. Our breakfast program was lots of fun!!! There are still a few openings for the “You Can’t Catch Me Lunch” for ages 3-5 years old with an adult, Tuesday, March 12th, noon -1 pm. You bring a bag lunch and we provide a beverage & treat. “I’m the Gingerbread Man” evening program for family fun for the young, Tuesday, March 19th, 7-8pm. We provide a lite snack &beverage for all to enjoy. All programs will include “sweet stories” music, games or crafts. Registration is required for all of these free programs. Reading logs for ages 7 and under and 8 and over will be available at the circulation desk to track reading throughout the month of March. Turn completed reading logs in to earn small prizes!
\nBookaholics Book Club<\/strong>
\nThere is still time to pick up your copy of Mitch Albom’s “The Time Keeper,” and join the Bookaholics book club at our next meeting, which will take place at Bruno’s Bar in downtown St. Johns Thursday, March 21 at 7:30pm. All adult patrons ages 21 and up with a valid library card are invited to participate.
\nLibrary Fundraiser<\/strong>
\nThe library will be hosting a fundraising sale from March 1st to March 28th. There will be audiobooks, VHS tapes and DVDs and a selection of new and used books available. Each item will sell for $1 with the proceeds being used to purchase new audio titles, new DVDs, and new large print and juvenile titles.
\n“Tick-Tock” Toddler Storytime<\/strong>
\nToddlers ages 2-3 years old with an adult are invited to share time listening to age appropriate stories, enjoying music and creative movement. We offer three sessions: Wednesday mornings, 10-10:30 am, March 27th-May 1st OR Thursday mornings, 10-10:30 am, March 28th-May 2nd OR Thursday evenings, 6:30-7pm, March 28th-May 2nd. Registration is required and is open now. A fun “Time” will be had by all!

\nEaster Bunny Program<\/strong>
\nCelebrate Easter at the Library with the Easter Bunny! On Tuesday, March 26 from 6:30-8:00 p.m. the Easter Bunny will be hopping into the Briggs Library for free photographs as well as a snack, game and craft for kids to enjoy. Registration is required for kids of all ages.<\/p>\n
