He was born June 28, 2006 in Ann Arbor, MI the son of Scott and Katherine (Popowich) Woodhams.<br \/>\nSurviving are his parents Scott and Katie; grandparents, Michael and Catherine Popowich of Owosso, Jack and Sharon Woodhams of St. Johns; great grandparents, Johan Balkon of Grandville, MI, Richard and Marie Woodhams and Phyllis Gilroy all of St. Johns; aunts and uncles, Andrew Popowich of Portage, MI, Kim and Mark Thalison of St. Johns, Jamie and Howard Straub III of Kalamazoo and many cousins, great aunts and great uncles.<br \/>\nA memorial service will be held 11:00 AM Monday, April 8, 2013 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns with Pastor Bruce Cromwell officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends 4-7 PM Sunday, April 7, 2013 and from 9:30 AM until service time Monday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made in Ethan\u2019s name to Fenner Conservancy, the 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization that manages Fenner Nature Center, to help construct interactive displays that are accessible to those with disabilities. Fenner Nature Center is located at 2020 E. Mt. Hope Ave. Lansing, MI 48910.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Carolyn Bodwin<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/bodwin_carolyn.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Carolyn Bodwin, age 87, passed away on March 29, 2013 at her home in East Lansing, Michigan. Carolyn was born August 30, 1925 in Owosso, Michigan, the daughter of Wilfred and Dorothy (Wheeler) Clapp and they preceded her in death. Carolyn was an accomplished pianist and taught vocal music in the East Lansing School System, directing many fine musical productions and coaching her students. She was also a member of the Red Hat Society, Lansing Matinee Musical and M.S.U. Music Alumni Association.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her daughter, Amy (Vic) Lane; sons, Randolph (Sue) and Linton (Marcie Carlson) Bodwin; grandchildren, Jacqueline Swanson, Theresa, William and Ethan Bodwin. She is also survived by her sister, Marjorie Phelps. Along with her parents, Carolyn was preceded in death by her brothers, Donald and Stanley Clapp and former husband, Herbert Bodwin.<br \/>\nThere will be a memorial service for Carolyn at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the National Audubon Society 225 Varick Street New York, NY. Carolyn\u2019s family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Gerald Newman Wright<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/wright_gerald.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>When a person dies, it\u2019s presumed to be the end \u2013 but each time they\u2019re remembered, they live again. An obituary should tell the age of the deceased, where born, the life highlights and number of children. Actually, most obituaries are way too long.<br \/>\nGerald Newman Wright was born November 25, 1925, lived most of his life in Lansing, Michigan \u2013 during the 1930\u2019s depression. He had a wonderful Mom, Rose Newman Wright and a wonderful Dad, William Fredrick Wright, both deceased. Gerry went to school in Lansing, played with the neighborhood kids (mostly cowboys and Indians), was a Boy Scout, and a Scout Leader. He loved High School (Lansing Sexton) and especially all the dances. He joined the Air Corps during World War II and made lots of friends across the US of A. He married, divorced and remarried. He had 5 boys and one girl and many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great, great grandchildren. Along with his parents, Gerry was preceded in death by his second son, Steven.<br \/>\nHe worked at a great job in Michigan and a second after retirement from the State of New Mexico, Chaves County. He liked to travel, attend reunions and weddings. He Had A Very Good Life!!<br \/>\nA Memorial Service will be 10 A.M. Thursday, April 11, 2013 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>, 104 E. Cass St. in St. Johns with Pastor Terry Williamson officiating. Burial will follow at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Lansing. His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Memorial contributions may be made in his name to the Hospice Advantage.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Virginia Mae Jastram<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/jastram_virginia.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Virginia Mae Jastram, age 87, went to be with her Lord and Savior on March 30, 2013, in Bay City, Michigan. She was born on 0ctober 10, 1925, the daughter of Elmer and Doris (Chant) Marten. Virginia worked along with her husband Leonard, on their family farms in Watertown Township. She married Leonard Jastram on October 18, 1944 in Riley Township and he preceded her in death on January 4, 2013. In addition, she was a homemaker, seamstress and an active member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.<br \/>\nVirginia is survived by her children, Marsha (Dennis) Neumeyer of Saginaw, MI., Elaine (Larry) Conrad of Olathe, KS, grandchildren Scott Neumeyer, Joel (Shannon) Neumeyer, Tanya (Gary) Munger, Amanda Neumeyer, and Jessica Conrad. She is also survived by great grandchildren, Elise Neumeyer, Kate Neumeyer, Nolan Munger, and Landon Munger, in-laws, Albert Flak, Gerald Jastram, and Carl and Caroline Minnis and many loving nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her sister, Neva Flak, in-laws Charlie and Edna Boak, and Dorothy Jastram.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be 11:00 am on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at St. Peter Lutheran Church, 8990 Church Rd. in Riley Twp., with Sem. Mark Warner officiating. Burial will follow at St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI. Memorial donations may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church or School. The family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Mona Hubbard<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/hubbard_mona.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>There shall be no more hungry birds in Heaven and the flowers will bloom in delight, for Mona Hubbard has found her place in Heaven with the risen Lord. On Good Friday, March 29, 2013, at the age of 88, Mona passed away with her family by her side. She was born January 1, 1925 in Owosso, MI the daughter of Alfred and Ethel (Jeltema) Gill. Mona was an active member of the Eureka Christian Church where she maintained the altar flowers for many years. She was a former Girl Scout Leader and a volunteer for Meals on Wheels.  She married C.W. Green and later married Ronald Hubbard.<br \/>\nSurviving are her children, Diana (Gary) VanOrsdol of St. Johns, Jerry (Sandy) Green of Elsie, Linda (Terry) Kentfield of St. Johns and Ramona (Scott) Smith of Elsie; ten grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; six great great grandchildren and one great great great granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald and two brothers.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday April 2, 2013 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns with Pastor Eric Stanton officiating. Interment will follow at Eureka Cemetery. The family will receive relatives and friends 2-8 PM on Monday, April 1, 2013 at the funeral home.
