The early effort is based on sending the message that without golfers and sponsors there would be no contest.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13april\/gals.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><em>Shelley Gunther hams it up while pretending to dust off her putter to promote Sparrow Clinton Auxiliary\u2019s upcoming Gals fore Giving golf outing. The effort evokes a hearty laugh from fellow Auxilian, Jeanette Huard. <\/em><br \/>\nSo, with dust rags in hand, the Auxilians will be calling on businesses &#8211; both former sponsors and new prospects &#8211; to consider some form of sponsorship and for ladies of the links to complete an early registration.<br \/>\nIn keeping with the spirit of the new emergency addition planned at Sparrow Clinton Hospital, levels of sponsorship have been named with a hospital theme, ranging from \u201cVolunteer\u201d (Giving Heart), $50-$200,<br \/>\n\u201cVisitor\u201d (Giving Cheer), $201-$500, \u201cPatient\u201d (Giving Thanks), $501-$1,000, to \u201cRecovery\u201d (Giving Renewal), $1,001 plus. The Auxiliary has pledged $100,000.00 to this project and for the next five years the \u201cGals for Giving\u201d golf outing will be important to the commitment.<br \/>\nAs in the past, other sponsorships include the traditional Breakfast ($225), Lunch at the Turn ($375) and the Deli-Buffet at day\u2019s end ($450). On course sponsorships are $50 per hole.<br \/>\nA four-person team sponsorship is $300 and individual registrations are $75.<br \/>\nKathie Clock and Shelley Redman share the co-chair responsibilities and other assignments are: Ann Hufnagel and Chery Goff, Golfers; Robin Ingalls and Mary Ann Elllickson, Business contacts; Nancy Mino and Ione Berg, Prizes; Shelley Gunther and Emma Khavari, Hole Sponsors and Jeanette Huard and Kathie Clock, Publicity.<br \/>\nChecks for sponsorships or golf registration may be made out to SCHA and mailed to Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, 805 S. Oakland St., St. Johns, MI 48879.
