Stehlik, Frank Albert VanAmburg, Patricia A. Chamberlain, Francisco Martinez<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Francisco Martinez<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/martinez_francisco.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Francisco \u201cKico\u201d Martinez passed away with his family by his side, on April 16, 2013 at the age of 84. Born October 11, 1928 in San Antonio, Texas, he was the son of Miguel and Matilde (Marin) Martinez. Francisco was a longtime member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns. He retired from Motor Wheel after 39 years and was a member of the A.I.W. #182. On May 8, 1948 in St. Johns, he married Petra (Guerrero) Martinez and she survives him.<br \/>\nFrancisco is also survived by his children, Matilde Guerrero, Julia (Arturo) Rodriguez, Susie Sedell, Beatrice (George) Purvis, Mar\u00eda Martinez, Francisco (Mary) Martinez, Jr., Tomas (Lori) Martinez, Elijio (Linda) Martinez, Teresa (Rob) Gagnon, Salvador (Kim Brown) Martinez, Eloisa (Terry) Nadeau, Victoria (Steve) Lischalk, 36 grandchildren, 56 great grandchildren, one brother, Jose (Enriqueta) Martinez, one sister, Maria (Rojelio) Rosas, sisters-in-law, Olga and Cecilia Martinez, as well as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by three children, Herlinda Archer-Groesbeck, Margarita Martinez, Remijio Martinez, Flavio Guerrero (son-in-law), five siblings, Viviano Martinez, Ignacio Martinez, Miguel Martinez, Jr., Juanita Trevino, Cecilia Villa and his parents, Miguel Martinez, Sr. and Matilde Martinez.<br \/>\nFuneral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday April 20, 2013 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with Rev. Fr. Michael Williams presiding, and burial following at Mt. Rest Cemetery in St. Johns. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. and Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. with a vigil service\/rosary at 7 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns. Memorial contributions may be made in Francisco\u2019s memory to The American Lung Association.<br \/>\nThe family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Alan J. Stehlik<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/stehlik_alan.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Alan J. Stehlik, age 45, passed away on April 13, 2013 after a nine year battle with brain cancer. Born November 4, 1967 in St. Johns, he was the son of James and Helen (Kral) Stehlik. On April 24, 1993, Alan married Christine (Pearson) Stehlik in Lansing. Alan loved fishing and hunting, being with his family and spending time teaching and coaching his kids. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns and a long time employee of Fishbeck, Thompson, Carr and Huber.<br \/>\nAlan is survived by his wife of 20 years, Christine Stehlik, his daughter Erin Stehlik and sons, Nathan and Bobby Stehlik. He is also survived by his parents, Jim and Helen Stehlik, brothers and sisters, Diane (Mark) Losee, Rosemary (Kary) Cooper, Ken Stehlik, Sharon (Tom) Densmore, Randy (Karen) Stehlik, Jim (Jenni) Stehlik, Janette (Matt) Monroe, as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and relatives.<br \/>\nFuneral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Johns with Fr. Michael Williams presiding. Burial will take place at Ford Cemetery in Elsie. The family will receive friends and family on Monday from 6-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Osgood Funeral Home in St. Johns. He was born on August 12, 1950, in St. Johns and was the son of Frank and Jean (Cramer) VanAmburg. He was a member of Ovid First Baptist Church and the American Legion Post #225.<br \/>\nFrank is survived by his ex-wife, Manuela VanAmburg Penn of Denver, CO, son, Frank VanAmburg, Jr. of Denver, CO, daughter, Brandy Kleinke of Elsie, three sisters, Francene (Robert) Garcia, Mary (John) Carman, Vickie (Terry) Flynn, three brothers, Gary (Dona) VanAmburg, Jim (Linda) VanAmburg, Todd (Julia) VanAmburg, grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Shannon Kleinke, special friend and caregiver, Joe Beno, aunt and uncle, Bruce (Karen) Cramer, Josephine (Garrett) Gunner, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Randy VanAmburg.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Ovid First Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Dickenson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Monday from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at the Houghton Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes in Ovid. Chamberlain<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/chaberlain_patricia.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\" \/>Patricia A. Chamberlain, 79 of Ovid, MI died on April 10, 2013 at Burcham Hills Community Retirement Center.  Pat was born on August 24, 1933 in Shiawassee County the daughter of Howard and Edna (Curtis) Horn.  On August 27, 1949 she married Mervin S. Chamberlain in Carland, MI.  Pat was a long time member of Carland United Methodist Church, Order of Eastern Stars, enjoyed doing ceramics and handy crafts.  Most of all she and Mervin spent many happy hours watching the grandchildren\u2019s sporting and music events and being with them.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her husband, Mervin; daughters, Sue (Rick) Barker of Grand Ledge, MI, and Kay (Bill) Green of Owosso, MI; grandchildren, Julie (Craig) Minott of Holt, Megan (John) Joslyn of Wyoming, MI, Raymond Green of Owosso, and Michael Barker of Sterling Heights, MI; great grandson, Christopher Joslyn of Wyoming, MI; brother, Jerry (Mary Ann) Horn of Owosso and sister Thelma Goodrich of Ashley, MI. She was preceded in death by her parents, son James and sister Joan Parks.<br \/>\nMemorial donations may be made to the Carland United Methodist Church.
