\nThe public is invited to join with Community Christian Church, 400 E. State Street (M-21) in St. Johns, for their free Vacation Bible School to be held Sunday through Thursday, June 9-13, 2013 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The church’s V.B.S. is for children, ages preschool through 5th grade.
\nThis year’s theme is Kingdom Rock: Where Kids Stand Strong For God<\/em><\/strong>! Kids will discover how to stand strong for God by being united in his love, by being connected with him in prayer, and through studying his Word. Children will receive free Bible Buddies to help remind them of each day’s Scripture verse, and there will be yummy snacks from the King’s Kitchen for all to enjoy.
\nChildren also participate in fun and zany tournament games, hands-on experiences at the imagination station, and they will discover through the daily Bible Adventure Point that God desires to have a relationship with them giving them strength to make right choices in their life.
\nRockin’ music will remind them of God’s love, no matter how they feel, no matter what happens in their life, and no matter where they are. They will make crafts that they can take home and play with all summer long and their Bible-buddy memory gift will remind them of this week’s lessons throughout the summer season. During Chadder’s Royal Theater children will watch a video clip of Chadder’s comical antics, and learn how to apply God’s strength to their every day lives. Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for the special conclusion and lesson summaries at 7:40 p.m.
\nKingdom Rock involves more than fun-filled events and learning about Jesus. It also enables kids to put their faith and knowledge into action by sharing God’s love with a mission project to raise funds and donate items to the Baby Pantry located in St. Johns. Donated items and monies will benefit children and families who could use a little assistance and encouragement during difficult times.
