We’re Off to See the Wizard – and more
\nOur next Tween program is on Monday, July 29th from 7-8 pm and is inspired by the wonderful “Wizard of Oz.” This promises to be an exciting evening for Tweens (ages 9-12) to play the Wizard of Oz trivia game, enjoy some snacks, and make a fun craft. So be sure to “follow the yellow brick road” to the Library to get acquainted with Dorothy, the Tin Man, Scarecrow, Cowardly lion and of course, the wonderful Wizard of Oz. Registration is required and begins on Monday, July 8th.
\nChapter Chatter Program “Table of Contents”<\/strong>
\n1) Summer fun 2) Stories, some serious , some seriously silly 3) Music, marshmallows and paint 4) Shiny new “lucky” pennies 5) Chalk talk 6) Hands-on ink pads 7) Snacks of course! So sign up for lots of fun for kids ages 6-8 on Monday evenings, 7-8 pm, August 5-26. Registration is required and begins on Monday, July 8th.
\nSummer Reading Program <\/strong>
\nOur second week of guessing contests winners were Natalie Palmer and Luke Nurenberg who both guessed 109 feathers and the correct number was 125. Audrey Bates won the week three contest with a correct guess of 92 feathers. Don’t forget to mark your calendar for the Potter’s Park Zoo Program that will be at the library on Tuesday, July23rd. The zoo program is from 7-7:45 pm. There will be refreshments before the program from 6:30-7 pm. Registration is not required but appreciated.
\nLibrary Closure<\/strong>
\nThe Library will be closed Thursday July 4th, Friday July 5th and Saturday July 6th in observance of the Independence Day Holiday. The drop box on the Library porch will be available for returns throughout this closure.<\/p>\n
