The Swine Barn on the County Fairgrounds will be cleaned up and decorated and turned into a colorful &#8220;Kids World&#8221; for the weekend and &#8220;Kids Day&#8221; on Sunday. There, kids can play .25 games, get their face painted, make a craft or have their hair sprayed a wild and crazy color. Kids can collect tickets after playing the games and turn them in for some totally cool prizes. Kids Day is sponsored by LAFCU and Kids World is sponsored in part by Schlegel Sand and Gravel.<br \/>\nMaple Leaf Amusements will be back at the festival with more rides than ever &#8211; 13 in all! A couple of their new rides are a Merry-go-Round and a Ferris Wheel. Tickets will be $1 each (rides will take multiple tickets) or you can purchase a daily wristband for $18.<br \/>\nThere will also be Laser Tag, Pony Rides, Miniature Golf, Train rides and a Princess\/Hero Party. And, of course kids can always participate in the Cooking or Photo Contest and what kid can resist the Grand Mint Parade that will be on Saturday at 10:00 am.<br \/>\nFor the older Kids there will be a Senior Citizen Day on Friday, August 9. From 2-5 pm senior citizens can play bingo and other games, win prizes, enjoy refreshments, have their blood pressure and blood sugar checked and enjoy entertainment. The first 100 seniors to arrive will receive a goodie bag. Senior Citizen Day will be held in the Main Pavilion at the north end of the St. Johns City Park.
