Bring the whole family and enjoy the best National Night Out yet! We will have the Animals Around the World show, Magician show, a DJ, St. Johns High School Marching Band drum line show, inflatables, games for the kids, food and drinks, ice cream and giveaways &#8211; All Free!<br \/>\nThe St. Johns Police Department is coordinating the event. Police-community partnerships, neighborhood safety, awareness and cooperation are important themes of the &#8220;National Night Out 2013&#8221; program.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13august\/nno.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\nDue to the generosity of the St. Johns Lutheran Church, the main event will again be held in their yard at the corner of Sturgis St. and Business 27.<br \/>\nYouth T-ball games from the City of St. Johns summer rec programs will be played.<br \/>\nFree hot dogs, and drinks provided by Big Boy Restaurant, McDonald&#8217;s and Kroger will be served. The St. Johns Lions Club will be there handing out ice cream sandwiches to keep everyone cool!<br \/>\nThe popular inflatables are back sponsored by Martin Brower, Journey Federal Credit Union, Olympian Tool Bee&#8217;s Motors and Keck-Coleman Funeral Home as well as games for the kids.<br \/>\n<strong><em>New<\/em><\/strong> this year is a magician, face painting, a DJ and a live show by the St. Johns High School Marching Band drum line. The St. Johns Kiwanis and Rotary Clubs will assist with the kid&#8217;s activities and grilling. Clinton Area Ambulance Service and the St. Johns Fire Department will be displaying their vehicles and equipment. Everyone&#8217;s favorite dogs, McGruff and Firepup, will be on hand to entertain the kids!<br \/>\nNational Night Out provides a unique opportunity for St. Johns to join forces with thousands of other communities across the country in promoting cooperative, police-community crime prevention efforts.
