The lady standing on the right is wearing a Federal-Mogul Packers bowling blouse. Although some of the faces look familiar nobody is identified in the photo.<br \/>\nIn the 1950s I worked as a pinsetter at Bowman&#8217;s Bowling Alley in Prudenville on the south side of Houghton Lake. They had automatic pinsetters on half of their alleys and manual pinsetters on the other half.<br \/>\nUsually the pinsetters tended two lanes, and it got very busy during league play. Then came the tournaments and we might end up tending three lanes depending on whether all the pinsetters showed up.<br \/>\nThe bowlers would show their appreciation for a job well done by the pinsetter by throwing change down the alley. We used to scamper out of the pit &#8220;G.
