Hartenburg was nominated by his peers and earned the ASPR-Patient Care Preparedness Award.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13oct\/dean.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><em>Dean Hartenburg with Cathy Hallead, Sparrow Clinton Hospital VP of Patient Services<\/em><br \/>\nHartenburg conducts full-scale exercises in evacuation\/shelter in place and decontamination situations, helping Sparrow Clinton Hospital Caregivers responsibility train and prepare for the vital role they play in their community through service at a Critical Access Hospital.<br \/>\nHe has developed education programs for hospital first receivers that have become a benchmark for community emergency preparedness.<br \/>\nA long standing member of the District 1 Executive Board and the Do1Thing Board, Hartenburg has been instrumental in the development of the Do1Thing program, which has grown from a small local personal preparedness project to a state and national program.<br \/>\nHartenburg demonstrates a passion for ensuring the safety and education of his peers, coworkers and community.
