That&#8217;s why Sparrow Clinton Hospital and the American Cancer Society offer the Look Good \u2026 Feel Better program for women.<br \/>\nClasses meet on Monday, December 9, at 2 p.m. in the Sparrow Clinton Hospital Volunteer Workroom on the third floor.<br \/>\nThis free, community-based service teaches cancer patients helpful beauty techniques to enhance their appearance and self-image throughout the weeks of chemotherapy and radiation treatments.<br \/>\nA volunteer beauty professional provides instruction in practical make-up techniques and skin and nail care as well as hair loss options, including wigs, turbans and scarves. Each participant receives a free cosmetics kit for their personal use during and after the workshop.<br \/>\nParticipants are asked to register at least 4 days prior to the class date, so individual kits can be ordered in advance.
