The Sparrow Clinton Hospital Foundation recently received a $ $10,000 grant from the Capital Region Community Foundation for the Right Here, Right Now Capital Campaign.<br \/>\nThis gift was made during the &#8220;quiet phase&#8221; of the campaign, which reached out to leading philanthropists, community businesses, and hospital physicians and caregivers. Major gifts to date have come from individuals, foundations, farms, service organizations, Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary, and area businesses.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13nov\/sch4.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><em>Granger Construction crews have been hard at work, setting structural steel supports and crossbeams in preparation for roofing and siding installation over the coming weeks.<\/em><br \/>\n&#8220;Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary members have pledged to donate $100,000 over the next five years,&#8221; says Gay Baker, Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary Co-President. &#8220;We&#8217;re excited to know that our fundraising dollars are building something so important in our community.&#8221;<br \/>\nThe existing 2,740 square-foot facility was designed to manage 8,000 annual patient visits. The hospital currently experiences 14,000 emergency visits a year and that volume is expected to reach 17,000 annual visits within the next two years.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13nov\/sch1.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\nAt 9,935 square-feet, the new Emergency Services Department offers nearly three times the space and features several amenities, including 10 private treatment rooms, two trauma treatment rooms, and a separate entrance and lobby emergency patients.
