Ottawa Street, St. Johns<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/13nov\/mystery143.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><br \/>\nThis house was built prior to 1874 and was originally owned by Myron Kniffin who ran a successful farm implement business somewhere on Higham Street.<br \/>\nThis house belonged to Miss Ana Ryan. For many years she was a popular teacher at Central School. After her retirement, she tutored another generation of students. Pupils would be dismissed from class to walk across the street to Miss Ryan&#8217;s house.<br \/>\nAnother previous owner was Lloyd Bensinger.
