Rest Cemetery. In addition the Kiwanis, Key, Builder, and AKtion Clubs will be showing their community spirit by volunteering with the CASA Super Hero run\/walk on Saturday April 26.<br \/>\nSharon Bassette chaired the local project by organizing fellow Kiwanians and members of St. Johns High School Good Wins Key Club and volunteers, along with arranging for donations from area businesses that helped ensure a successful effort. \u201cOur members responded readily,\u201d she said, \u201cand we\u2019re most grateful for donations received from Firstbank, Spud\u2019s Party Store and Andy T\u2019s.\u201d Respectively, those contributions included fruit and lemonade, donuts and bark chips.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/14april\/kiwanisone2.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><em>Emily Orlowski, Brooke Mazzolini, Katie Maloney, Kerrigan Smith and Keayleich Smith<\/em><br \/>\nKiwanians participating besides Ms. Bassette included Curt Keck, Laura Mullaney, Graham Filler, Marcia Peterson and Jim Gunther. Non-Kiwanis volunteers were Keith Peterson, and Judy Thelen. Dennis Scott represented the Veterans\u2019 group.<br \/>\nThrough the efforts and donations of those mentioned and the sunshine warmth of a beautiful spring day, Ms. Bassette declared Kiwanis One Day project most successful.<br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/gallery\/14april\/track.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"image\" class=\"aligncenter size-full\" \/><em>Coach Mohre&#8217;s St. Johns High School Track Team volunteered to rake and pick up debris from the winter and spring winds at Mt. Rest Cemetery in St. Johns.
