The excitement of completing a drawing, painting a design on a discarded bottle:or becoming a buddy with a stone that becomes a tiny frog. All forms of adventure that kids attending \u201cKids Art Camp\u201d might well experience.<br \/>\nThe annual program, sponsored by Clinton County Arts Council, offers a series of classes introducing youngsters to various projects beginning in late June and runs through early October under the guidance of artists accomplished in their field.<br \/>\nAll classes are conducted on Friday and Saturday, by age, and are held at the depot at 107 E. Railroad St. in St. Johns. Ages 6-9 meet from 10 a.m. to noon and ages 10-13 gather from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Monthly class schedule and project types and instructors are as follows:<br \/>\nJune 27 -Paper Box Making, Carey Harris<br \/>\nJune 28 &#8211; Cartoon Drawing, Melissa Risselada<br \/>\nJuly 11 &#8211; Glass Bottle Painting, Rosie Feldpausch<br \/>\nJuly 12 &#8211; Woodland Tic Tac To, Mary Beth Armbrustmacher<br \/>\nJuly 25 &#8211; Taping and Painting, Mary Beth Armbrustmacher<br \/>\nJuly 26 \u2013 Zen Tangle, Barbara Ladisky<br \/>\n? ? Aug. 15 &#8211; Pinch Pottery, Laurie Becker<br \/>\nAug. 16 \u2013 Stone Buddies, Carol Maddox<br \/>\nFollowing that series, there will be two classes in the fall, Saturday Sept. 20 and Saturday Oct. 11 with projects to be announced at a later date.<br \/>\nFees for all classes are $12 ($10 if CCAA member).
