Kramer<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/kramer_mary.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Mary A. (Schafer) Kramer, age 91, died May 29, 2014. She was born in Clinton County, March 8, 1923, the daughter of Henry and Veronica (Bierstetel) Schafer. Mary married Steve Kramer in Hubbardston, MI on August 30, 1944 and he preceded her in death in 2003. Mary was a member St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and a devoted wife, a farmer and a homemaker, and loved John Deere tractors.<br \/>\nMary is survived by her sister Rita Gesselman of Carson City, MI and her brother Thomas C. (Helen) Schafer of St. Johns, MI and many nieces and nephews. In addition to her husband, Mary was preceded in death by her parents, three brothers, Gerald, Bernard and Paul Schafer, and a sister, Agnes Bradbury.<br \/>\nMass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 2, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, MI. with Fr. Charlon Mason presiding and burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 6-8 p.m. with a rosary being prayed at 7 p.m. at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 11112 W. Ionia St., Fowler. Memorial donations may be made to the donor\u2019s choice.<br \/>\nThe family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Elaine Dilday<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/dilday_elaine.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Elaine Dilday passed away on May 27, 2014, at the age of 78. She was born January 29, 1936 in Lansing, the daughter of Perry and Ruth (Holibaugh) Kinney. Elaine married Joel Dilday on September 1, 1956 and he survives her.<br \/>\nAlso surviving is their son, Randy (Pam) Dilday and grandson Justin Dilday, all of Edmore, 4 sisters-in-law, Betty Martin, Judy Corzine, Diane Dilday, Marsha (Dave) Wilsey and brother-in-law, Larry (Linda) Dilday.<br \/>\nAs per Elaine\u2019s wishes, there will be a memorial gathering at a later date. The family was served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Ruth Ann Cassaday<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/cassaday_ruth.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Ruth Ann Cassaday born June 30, 1937, in Lansing, MI went home to be with her Lord on Friday, May 23, 2014 at the age of 76. Ruth graduated from Williamston High School, attended St. Peter Lutheran Church and retired from the DeWitt IGA as a meat wrapper.<br \/>\nSurviving are two daughters, Nicole (Chad) Foster of DeWitt and Debbie (James) Gorman of Potterville; two sons, Patrick Cassaday of DeWitt and Michael Cassaday of FL; grandchildren, Shawna (Justin) Frank, Allen (Nicki) Cassaday, Matthew Cassaday-Gorman, Kelsey Foster, Harlee Foster and Averyanna Cassaday; great grandchildren, Owen Frank and Gracie Cassaday; sisters, Susan Songer of Lansing and Janet Skorich of AZ and many wonderful, special friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Laura (Hogle) Lamphere and a son, David Vincent Cassaday.<br \/>\nA memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 31, 2014 at St. Peter Lutheran Church 8990 Church Rd. St. Johns with Pastor Quentin Nuttmann officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends from 10:00 a.m. until service time on Saturday at the church.  Memorials may be made to St. Peter Lutheran Church. The family was assisted with these arrangements by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Rick Ithyl Brush<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/brush_rick.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Rick Ithyl Brush, 52 of Ovid, MI passed away at his home on Sunday, May 25, 2014.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, MI on Friday, May 30, 2014 at 11:00 A.M., with Pastor Herb Wheelock officiating. Burial will take place at Duplain Township Cemetery St. Johns, MI. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 from 6-8 P.M. and on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 2-8 P.M. with family present from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.<br \/>\nRick was born November 22, 1961, in St Johns Michigan, the son of Rod and Erma Brush. After graduating from St. Johns High School, Rick moved to Higgins Lake where he enjoyed the northern MI life style. He worked for AJD Forest Products for several years and also served as a volunteer fire fighter for Beaver Creek fire department. He then moved to Elsie MI after meeting his wife Diane (Baese) Brush. He enjoyed many outdoor activities, including; hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and canoeing or kayaking. Rick and Diane built their northern get-away home together and loved spending time up there around the campfire, either just the two of them or surrounded by many great friends and family. Rick was a very caring and loving son, husband, father and friend. He was always willing to help out when called upon. He loved spoiling his wife Diane. Rick was currently employed with MMPA in Ovid, a job he really enjoyed.<br \/>\nRick is survived by his wife Diane, his father (Rod and Lyla Brush) and his mother (Erma and Bill Canute), his son Devon Brush, four step-children, many grandchildren, three sisters (Elaine Brush, Marshel Brush, Deb and Ed Parkinson), many nieces and nephews, three step-brothers, and one step-sister. He is preceded in death by his grandparents; (Ithyl and Elaine Brush-Maynard) (Herman and Mary Miller).<br \/>\nMemorials may be made to a Charity of the Donor&#8217;s Choice. McClelland<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/mcclelland_robert.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Robert E. McClelland, 51 of rural St. Johns died on Thursday, May 22, 2014.  Bob was born on July 14, 1962 in Owosso, MI the son of Ron and Margaret (McCarthy) McClelland.  He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School in 1980 and then attended Cleveland Ohio Diesel Tech. He worked for McClelland Milk Hauling in Ovid.  He enjoyed hunting and sports.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his father, Ron of Ovid; brothers, Jim (Kim) McClelland of Ovid and Dan McClelland of Litchfield, NH; sisters Patty (Chuck) Deines of Hays, Kansas and Ronda (fianc\u00e9, Marc Cram) of Traverse City, MI.; 4 nieces and 1 great niece. Bob was preceded in death by his Mother, Margaret in 2008.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a> on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Paul Damkoehler officiating. She was born in Fowler, May 28, 1928 , the daughter of Joseph and Dora (Schueller) Schafer. Rita was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo and a devoted mother and homemaker. Rita married Carl Schaefer in Fowler on October 18, 1955 and he survives her.<br \/>\nRita is also survived by her children, Judy (Gary) Becker of Pewamo, Dan (Ann) Schaefer of DeWitt, and Mike (Bev) Schaefer of Fowler. Also surviving are 8 grandchildren; Trey, Tayler (Abbie), Trent, and Terin Becker, Corey, Lainie, and Calvin Schaefer and Mitch Crouch; brothers, Joe Schafer, Jerry Schafer, Mark (Arleita) Schafer, Tony (Rose) Schafer, and son-in-law, Mark Crouch. Rita was preceded in death by her parents, as well as her daughter, Mary Crouch, four sisters and three brothers.<br \/>\nMass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, MI. with Fr. Schafer<\/strong><br \/>\nJohn W. Schafer, age 83, died May 22, 2014. He was born in Fowler, May 19, 1931, the son of Edward and Laura (Goerge) Schafer. John was a member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and the Fowler Conservation Club. He was a supervisor with the Department of Public Works in Fowler for 28 years before retiring.<br \/>\nJohn is survived by two brothers, Michael (Irene) Schafer of Grand Ledge and Jerome (Connie) Schafer of DeWitt. Also surviving are sisters, Agnes Schafer and Theresa Stump both of Pewamo, as well as many nieces and nephews. John was preceded in death by his parents, three sisters, Elizabeth (Clayton) Kramer, Martha (Steve) Fedewa and Rita Walker, two brothers, Edward and Joseph Schafer and brothers-in-law, Delbert Schafer and Leon Stump.<br \/>\nMass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with burial to follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. Born in Fowler, Michigan, April 27, 1944, he was the son of Herman and Thelma Naomi (Smith) Martin.<br \/>\nPaul is survived by sister-in-law, Virginia Martin of Fowler, and brother-in-law, David (Barbara) Schafer of New Mexico. Also surviving are 6 nieces and 3 nephews. Paul was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Jane Martin and Virginia Schafer, as well as a brother, George Martin.<br \/>\nFuneral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, May 28 at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Fowler with Fr. William Koenigsnecht presiding. Burial to follow at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 27 from 6-9 p.m. with vigil service at 8 p.m. at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes in Fowler.
