Raddatz, Kayla May Buckley, Lial L. Knight<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Joan H. Raddatz<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/radditz_joan.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Joan H. Raddatz, age 82, died on June 24, 2014. She was born June 9, 1932 in Pewamo, the daughter of Casper and Vera (Schafer) Cook. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, and Church of Resurrection Choir. Joan retired from the Michigan Dept. of Treasury-Income Tax Division in 1999. Joan was an avid reader and a devout Catholic all of her life. She was a very loving person and always said \u201cthank you\u201d to everyone who helped her during her lengthy stay at the Ashley Care Center and at Ovid Healthcare. We wish to thank them for their kindness and loving care during her stay there. She married Ray Raddatz on Sept. 8, 1978 and he preceded her in death October 12, 1986.<br \/>\nJoan is survived by two sisters, M. Eileen Thelen of Fowler and Bertine (Leon) Thelen of St. Johns, nineteen nieces and nephews, step-daughter, Janean (Steven) Lonsdorf of North Carolina, step-daughter-in-law, Virginia Raddatz of Stanton, two step-grandchildren, Roxanne Gorland and Amelia (Jeremy) Springer, four great grandchildren and one sister-in-law, Neva Plourde of Webberville. In addition to her husband, Joan was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Amelia Cook, one brother, Philip (Rona) Cook, one sister-in-law, Bea Schneider, step-son, Terry Raddatz and one brother-in-law, Marvin Thelen.<br \/>\nFuneral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, June 27, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Pewamo, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery, with Fr. Charlon Mason officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m., at the Goerge Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, Fowler, with a rosary being prayed at 3 p.m. and a vigil service at 7 p.m. Memorials may be made to St. Joseph Catholic School in Pewamo.<br \/>\nThe family was served by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Kayla May Buckley<br \/>\n<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/buckley_kayla.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Kayla May Buckley, age 26, died June 22, 2014. She was born on December 19, 1987 the daughter of Randy and Julie (Tomlinson) Buckley.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her two children, Ariel Jean Buckley and Damien Duane-Edwin Brinson, fianc\u00e9, Joseph E. Brinson, parents, Randy and Julie Buckley, sister, Katral (James) Stevens, niece and nephew, Tehya and Tryton Stevens, and grandmother, Alice Buckley. Kayla was preceded in death by grandparents, Arthur Buckley and Dorothy (Keith) Tomlinson.<br \/>\nFuneral Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 28, 2014 at the Houghton Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 232 E. Oak St., Ovid, with Pastor Scott Seelhoff officiating, burial to follow at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, 6-8 p.m. The family is being served by the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.osgoodfuneralhomes.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Osgood Funeral Homes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Lial L. Knight<\/strong><br \/>\n<img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/sjindy\/obits\/images2\/knight_lial.jpg\" HSPACE=\"8\" ALIGN=\"left\"\/>Lial L. Knight died Thursday, June 19, 2014 at the age of 82. He was born February 2, 1932 in Gratiot County, Michigan the son of Clifford and Lila (Lehner) Knight.  Lial was a graduate of Fulton High School, Class of 1950 and is an Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He is a member of the Clinton\/Gratiot Voiture 868 of the 40 et 8 and a life member of both V.F.W. Post # 4113 and American Legion Post #153 in St. Johns.  He worked for Michigan Bell Telephone Co. as a lineman, retiring in 1991.<br \/>\nSurviving are two daughters, Stephanie (Todd) Sheldon of Stockbridge and Lorraine (Charles) Baker of Webberville; two sons, Barry L. (Cindy) Knight of Owosso and Lial T. (Liane) Knight of Coral Springs, FL and eight grandchildren. On May 11, 1952 he married Betty Jean Atkinson and she preceded him in death October 28, 2008. He was also predeceased by one sister, Alva Reynolds and two brothers, Frederick and Roy.<br \/>\nFuneral services will be held 11:00 am Monday, June 23, 2014 at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns. Interment will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by the St. Johns Honor Guard. The family will receive relatives and friends 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00PM Sunday, June 22, 2014 at the funeral home.
