Travel in safety and comfort on a Blue Water coach to the 6th largest art museum in the country, leaving at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 6:00 p.m. to the parking lot CCRESA: 1013 S. US 27 in St. Johns.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/manet.jpg\" alt=\"manet\" width=\"400\" height=\"255\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45483\" \/><br \/>\nIn addition to the institute&#8217;s vast permanent collection, participants will be able to see the following special exhibits:<br \/>\n\u00b7 Ordinary People by Extraordinary artists: Works on Paper by Degas, Renoir and Friends<br \/>\n\u00b7 Rembrandt: Self Portrait with Shaded Eyes on loan, along with the Institute&#8217;s permanent Rembrandt collection<br \/>\n\u00b7 Make a Joyful Noise: Renaissance Art and Music at Florence Cathedral, featuring 3 marble panels from Italy<br \/>\nThe day will also include a 30-minute lecture on Diego Rivera and Frida Kahlo, Mexican artists who romanticized Detroit in the 30s. Rivera created the mural cycles, Detroit Industry, the focal point of the museum. The bus will arrive at DIA at 11:00 AM and leave at 4:00 PM sharp. Lunch will be on your own in the DIA at the cafeteria or the upscale restaurant. In addition, there will be free musical entertainment in the Sunday Music Bar, 1-4 PM.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/02\/degas.jpg\" alt=\"degas\" width=\"275\" height=\"350\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-45484\" \/><br \/>\nThe cost for the trip is $50.00, which includes transportation, admission to the DIA, the special exhibits, the lecture and snacks and beverages on the coach.
