Readers ages 3-5 can catch up with Fly Guy Tuesday, March 10; readers ages 4-7 will be letting it go with the gang from Frozen on Tuesday, March 17; and readers ages 7-9 can join us for the &#8220;Long Haul&#8221; at our Diary of a Wimpy Kid party on Tuesday, March 24. All programs will run from 6:30-7:15, and are for independent participants. As a special treat, face painting by Sharon will take place at 6:15 each week. Registration is required for all programs and is now open.<br \/>\n<strong>Easter Bunny Program<\/strong><br \/>\nCelebrate Easter at the Library with the Easter Bunny. On Tuesday, March 31 from 6:30-7:30 p.m. the Easter Bunny will be hopping into the Library. There will be a snack, game, stories and a craft. Bring your own camera and take a picture with the Easter Bunny. Registration is required and opens for kids of all ages on Tuesday, March 3.<br \/>\n<strong>Toddler Storytime<\/strong><br \/>\nIt&#8217;s HIP to be SQUARE? This program is for children ages 2-3 years old with an adult. Choose between 3 six-week sessions: Wednesday Mornings 10-10:30am, March 27th &#8211; May 1st or Thursday mornings 10-10:30 am, March 28th &#8211; May 2nd or Thursday evenings, 6:30-7pm, March 28th &#8211; May 2nd. We will &#8220;shape&#8221; up a good time with stories, creative movement, music and a craft. Registration is required and begins Wednesday, February 26. You may register by phone or online.<br \/>\n<strong>Briggsflix<\/strong><br \/>\nJoin us for the comedy &#8220;Best In Show&#8221; on Tuesday, Feb. 24th in the Library meeting room. The film is about five dogs and their owners as they prepare for the Mayflower Kennel Club Dog Show. This FREE program is intended for adults and will begin at 6:30 pm, with a short discussion following the film. Patrons are welcome to bring camp chairs or other comfortable seating. The film is rated PG-13 and runs for 90 minutes.<br \/>\n<strong>Staff Picks<\/strong><br \/>\nIf you are looking for a good book to read here is a list of titles that Library staff enjoyed or found informative in the last month. Miss Marie&#8217;s Juvenile Picks: Kids Who Are Changing the World by Anne Jankeliowitch, Earmuffs for Everyone: how Chester Greenwood Became Known as the Inventor of Earmuffs by M. McCarthy, Hissy Fitz by Patrick Jennings, Love Monster and the Perfect Present by Rachel Bright (picture book) and Absolutely Truly by Heather Frederic.<br \/>\n<strong>Bookaholics<\/strong><br \/>\nTom Perrotta&#8217;s The Leftovers is the March selection of the Bookaholics book club. Set in a small town that is still reeling from the sudden, unexplained disappearance of many of its citizens, Perrotta invites us to a familiar America made strange by grief and apocalyptic anxiety. Copies of the book are now available. The clubs will meet on Thursday, March 19 at noon at the library, or at 8:00pm at Bruno&#8217;s Bar.
