{"id":45997,"date":"2015-03-12T20:54:05","date_gmt":"2015-03-13T00:54:05","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/?p=45997"},"modified":"2015-03-12T20:54:05","modified_gmt":"2015-03-13T00:54:05","slug":"maple-17","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/archive1\/maple-17\/","title":{"rendered":"FOMR to meet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Friends of The Maple River &#8211; March 18<!--more--><br \/>\nThe Friends of The Maple River (FOMR) will hold their next bi-monthly meeting on Wednesday March 18th at the Ovid Township hall located on the south side of highway M-21, east of Hollister Road, in the village of Ovid. The meeting will start at 7:00 PM.<br \/>\nAnyone who is interested in the problems, management, and the wise use of the Maple River and it&#8217;s watershed, is welcome to attend. Ms. Michella Trowbridge, outreach coordinator for the Sleepy Hollow State Park will be the guest speaker. She will discuss the Park&#8217;s history, development, management and resource opportunities<br \/>\nA business meeting will follow M. Trobridge&#8217;s presentation. Included in the business session will be recommendations and nominations for the organizations Board of Directors. The organization is looking for persons who have an interest in the conservation and use of the Maple River to help our organization by volunteering to serve on the Board of Directors.The election will take place at the FOMR annual meeting in May.<br \/>\nPlease note that the FOMR has scheduled their annual spring river bank clean-up and log jam work bee for Saturday April 25th.If weather or river conditions are a problem, the clean-up will be rescheduled for the following Saturday.
