LeButt<!--more--><br \/>\n<strong>Madelyn Grace Senter<\/strong><br \/>\nMadelyn Grace Senter, infant daughter of Luther and Gabriel (Wolfe) Senter passed away Monday, March 16, 2015 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, MI. Madelyn Grace was born in Lansing, Michigan on March 15, 2015.<br \/>\nA Memorial Service will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie, MI on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M., with Rev. Nancy Steele officiating. Visitation will be held for one hour prior to the memorial service. Burial will take place at Marion Township Cemetery, Marion Springs, MI.<br \/>\nShe is survived by her parents, brother James Senter of Ovid, Michigan, grandparents; Dave and Geri Senter of Streator, Illinois, Marsha and Mike Evans of Streator, Illinois, Pamela Tobias of St. Johns, MI, Daniel Wolfe of Bannister, MI, great grandparents; Gorman and Patricia Wolfe of Brant, MI, and Delbert and Joyce Tobias of Au Gres, MI, aunts; Lainey McCoy of Long Point, Illinois, Aleaha Evans of Streator, Illinois, Lyndi Wolfe of Sheridan, Illinois, uncle Jesse Wolfe of Ashley, Michigan, and several cousins and other extended family members.<br \/>\nMadelyn&#8217;s family would like to extend their appreciation to all who have helped and supported them through these difficult times.<br \/>\nMemorial contributions may be made to the family or to the Elsie Baby Pantry. The family is being served by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smith Family Funeral Homes<\/a>, Elsie, Michigan.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Dean Roland Dunham<\/strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/dunham_dean.jpg\" alt=\"dunham_dean\" width=\"91\" height=\"129\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-46071\" \/>Dean Roland Dunham, Sr. age 87, of Elsie, Michigan passed away Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at his home.<br \/>\nA Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Paul&#8217;s Catholic Church, Owosso, Michigan on Thursday, March 19, 2015 at 10:00 A.M., with Rev. Fr. Michael O&#8217;Brien officiating. Burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 from 3:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes Elsie, Michigan. Rosary will be prayed on Wednesday at 6:00 P.M. at the funeral home, with Deacon Gary Edington officiating.<br \/>\nDean was born in Elsie, Michigan on March 10, 1928, the son of Dewitt Dale and Thelma Blanche (Wright) Dunham. He graduated from Elsie High School with the class of 1946. On July 16, 1949 Dean married Gertrude (Tribfelner) in Angola, Indiana.<br \/>\nDean was a rural mail carrier for the Post office in Elsie for 21 years. Dean also worked for Aurora Gasoline Company, Elsie plant for 10 years and Federal Mogul, St. Johns for 12 years. He was involved in the Elsie Ambulance Service for over 20 years as a driver. He was also a Cub Scout and Boy Scout leader, and he was a former coach for pony and little league teams in Elsie. Dean mowed lawns in Elsie for senior citizens and was a recipient of the Edgar A. Guest Award, from the Masonic Lodge in Elsie. He resided all of his life in Elsie, Michigan and was a member of St. Paul&#8217;s Catholic Church, the K of C, and the Men&#8217;s Club of St. Paul&#8217;s Catholic Church.<br \/>\nHe is survived by his wife Gertrude Dunham of Elsie, MI, 2 daughters; Thelma and Basil Janes, Mary Dunham and fianc\u00e9, Steve Weiderer, grandson Scott and Melissa Rubey, 2 great grandsons; Scott and Hunter, brother Duane and Jerri Wright of Kentucky, and 4 step granddaughters. Dean was predeceased by his parents, his son Dean Jr. step grandson Paul Janes, and several aunts and uncles. Memorials may be made to WOES Polka Palace or your local Boy Scout Troop. The family is being served by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.smithfamilyfuneralhomes.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Smith Family Funeral Homes<\/a> Elsie, Michigan.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Jacqueline S. &#8220;Jackie&#8221; Tipton<\/strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/tipton_jacqueline.jpg\" alt=\"tipton_jacqueline\" width=\"91\" height=\"129\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-46069\" \/>Jacqueline S. &#8220;Jackie&#8221; Tipton died at Hospice House in Lansing on March 16, 2015 at the age of 68 following a battle with cancer.  She was born on February 3, 1947 in Alma, MI the daughter of Maynard and Adella (Moore) Johnson.  Jacqueline graduated from Fulton High School in 1965 on and July 13, 1966 she married Gerald L. Tipton in Maple Rapids.  Jackie was a homemaker and enjoyed bicycle riding, sewing, cooking, baking and gardening.<br \/>\nJacqueline is survived by her husband Gerald and their children Angela (Martin) Jernstadt of Maple Rapids, Jeremy (Janis) Tipton of St. Johns, Catherine (Jarrod) Ash of Rainbow Lake.  Grandchildren, Morgan, Lauren and Emma Jernstadt; James and Madison Tipton and Sydney and Leah Ash.  Sister, Tina (Dave) Gean of Flint, MI and brother Stan Johnson of Maple Rapids. She was preceded in death by her sister Catherine and brother Lloyd.<br \/>\nMemorial services will be held at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.keckcolemanfh.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Keck-Coleman Funeral Home<\/a>, St. Johns on Saturday, March 21, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kathy Leydorf-Keck officiating.  The family will receive friends and relatives at the funeral home on Friday, March 20, 2015, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M.  Memorial contributions may be made to Rails-to-Trails, PO Box 274 St. Johns MI 48879.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Allen Dale Burgess<\/strong><br \/>\nAllen Dale Burgess, 79, of St. Johns, retired General Motors welder, died Friday, March 13, 2015.<br \/>\nMemorial service 3 p.m. Friday at VFW Hall, St. Johns. Arrangements by Riley Funeral Home, Lansing.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Patrick Joseph Magsig<\/strong><br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/04\/magsig_patrick.jpg\" alt=\"magsig_patrick\" width=\"91\" height=\"129\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-46063\" \/>Patrick Joseph Magsig Sr., 50, 0f Nolanville, TX passed away on Friday, March 6, 2015 at a Temple hospital.<br \/>\nPrivate family services will be held at a later date. His body was cremated. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.crottyfh.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Crotty Funeral Home and Cremation Services<\/a> is in charge of arrangements.<br \/>\nMr. Magsig was born on July 20, 1964 to Aurthor and Margie Conen Magsig in Lansing, MI. He married Evelyn Liquia on July 3, 1988 in Flint, MI. He worked for Changing Hearts Ministry in Flint, MI. until he moved to Nolanville in 1997.<br \/>\nSurvivors are his wife, Evelyn Magsig of Nolanville; Patrick Joseph Magsig Jr. and wife, Jessica of Nolanville and Wesley Gordon Faler of Florida; two daughters, Jossette Marie Ponton and husband, Mike of North Pole, Alaska and Jennifer Rebecca Ixtlahuac and husband Richie of Dallas, TX.; one brother, Paul Magsig of Florida; one sister, Angie Carney of North Carolina; four grandchildren and one great grandchild.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Linda C. LeButt<\/strong><br \/>\nLinda C. LeButt, age 67, died March 12, 2015.  She was born June 26, 1947 in Lansing, MI to Milton and Josephine (Hockey) Moore and graduated from Everett High School in 1965.  She worked at Federal-Mogul in St. Johns for more than 10 years.  Linda loved and cared deeply for her many cats, and enjoyed MSU women\u2019s basketball games.<br \/>\nShe was predeceased by her parents Milt and Jo Moore.  Surviving are her sister, Barbara Clark; nephews, David (Amy) Clark and Adam (Becky) Clark; great-nephew, Geoffrey Clark; great-nieces, Julia, Samantha, and Autumn Clark.<br \/>\nA Memorial Visitation will be held from 2-5 pm Saturday, March 21, 2015 at the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.grlansing.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Gorsline Runciman Funeral Homes,<\/a> 900 E. Michigan Avenue, Lansing.
