Today, at the museum, you can enjoy extended hours and free admission.*<\/p>\n<p>Take a walk through Michigan history as you explore our 26 permanent exhibit galleries. Be sure to tour our special exhibit, Conceived in Liberty.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/tourist2.jpg\" alt=\"tourist2\" width=\"300\" height=\"254\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-47469\" \/><\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ve partnered with the Lansing Fire Department Emergency Medical Service (EMS), celebrating 40 years of service. Together, we are bringing you these one-day only activities:<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; Hear rescue stories from some of the original Firehouse 1 crew<br \/>\n&#8211; Design an EMS badge and investigate historic badges from communities across Michigan<br \/>\n&#8211; Examine real EMS and firefighter gear<br \/>\n&#8211; Test your aim at the &#8220;Putting Out a Fire&#8221; game station<br \/>\n&#8211; See historic photos of Lansing fires, as well as artifacts that survived the blazes<\/p>\n<p>The Michigan Historical Museum is one of only three locations in Greater Lansing where you can vote in the special Be A Tourist election. Do you support Sparty? Big Lug?
