State Street (M-21) in St. Johns, for their free Vacation Bible School to be held Sunday through Thursday, June 14-18, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. The church&#8217;s V.B.S. is for children, ages 4 years old through 5th grade.<\/p>\n<p>This year&#8217;s theme is &#8220;Everest: Conquering Challenges with God&#8217;s Mighty Power.&#8221; At Everest VBS, children will explore one of the most majestic and beautiful places on earth. They will join Climbing Crews to &#8220;trek&#8221; through Everest VBS, discovering God&#8217;s power and promises all along the way. They will also enjoy the snacks, games, and singing.<\/p>\n<p>Kids will learn to overcome obstacles with God&#8217;s awesome power. Mount Everest is the highest point on earth, and at Everest VBS children will learn that Jesus is higher still-providing for their needs, bringing them comfort when needed, and loving them forever. Children will be taught that God&#8217;s awesome power is enough to overcome any &#8220;mountain&#8221; or problem in their lives. Kids will leave the 5-day VBS as more confident, faith-filled people ready to pursue a lifelong friendship with Jesus.<\/p>\n<p>Family members and friends are encouraged to join in daily for the special conclusion and lesson summaries at 7:40pm.<\/p>\n<p>For more information or to register your child contact the church at 989-224-6421.
