The agreement will help support the Implementation Phase of programs aimed at increasing post-secondary readiness, enrollment and completion percentages for students in the school districts in Clinton County, both Public and Private. This includes the districts of Bath, Dewitt, Fowler, Ovid-Elsie, Pewamo-Westphalia and St. Johns.<\/p>\n<p>The CPSN leadership team will look at developing programs and initiatives throughout Clinton County to provide assistance and resources to students in selecting and pursuing a career path after high school graduation.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The response from the Clinton County Board of Commissioners has been absolutely incredible,&#8221; said Denise Palmer, CPSN Coordinator and Clinton County Regional Educational Service Agency (CCRESA) employee. &#8220;The Board has displayed a tremendous show of support for the Network and sees the direct connection between the availability of skilled resources and economic development in Clinton County.&#8221; Clinton County Commissioners David Pohl and Ken Mitchell will represent the County on the leadership team.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/06\/county.jpg\" alt=\"county\" width=\"450\" height=\"343\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-47640\" \/><\/p>\n<p>CPSN is a collaborative effort consisting of leadership from grades K-12, CCRESA Career Education, higher education institutions, local businesses, Clinton County and City of St. Johns officials, economic and community development, community foundations and other philanthropic organizations. Denise Palmer, CPSN Coordinator and Dru L. Mitchell, President\/CEO of The Clinton County Economic Alliance, serve as Chair and Co-Chair respectively.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;There are many post-secondary education options available after high school, including college or university, military service, or any number of training, certification and\/or credentialing programs.
