Supporting CASA supports children like Suzy<\/strong> Suzy is 7 years old; she has been removed from her parents\u2019 care three times. Suzy and her two siblings were appointed a CASA Advocate Spring 2014.<\/p>\n Below are a few ways Suzy’s Advocate has provided a voice to three children throughout their experiences in ‘the system’.<\/p>\n – Get needed, extensive dental care Due to Suzy\u2019s parents\u2019 lack of participation and the information her CASA Advocate provided to the court, Suzy\u2019s parents had their parental rights terminated.<\/p>\n While this is a sad decision, a bond not meant to be broken, the court\u2019s decision helps Suzy and her siblings on the path to finding a safe, permanent home.<\/p>\n This Fathers’ Day won\u2019t you consider a gift which will help us reach all children who are involved in court proceedings due to abuse or neglect.
