It was great weather for an outing, so decided this was the day.<\/p>\n<p>The festival opened at 3 pm that day, so I had no trouble getting a lot of photos as rides were going and people were about doing shopping, visiting or eating ice cream.<br \/>\nI watched the little ones riding the rides for their size and enjoyed that. I went into Sweetie-licious to scout out all the baked goods and found the perfect cookie, just to tie me over.<\/p>\n<p>Dewitt is a smaller town that really knows how to put on their festival, and everyone is friendly. The event is right downtown on main street so everything is right at your fingertips.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/miserybay.usanethosting.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/08\/IMG_1460.jpg\" alt=\"IMG_1460\" width=\"441\" height=\"387\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-49228\" \/><\/p>\n<p>One last thing I will mention is that I was asked by a lady from Channel 10 news if I would speak to Andy Provenzano, the weatherman, and I did so. I figured this was my shot at fame and had a pleasant conversation with him all the while we were being filmed for their segment for a TV slot.
