The Eat Healthy Eat Local Foundation is planning their newest annual event – Friendsgiving!
You’ve never experienced a farm-to-table dinner like this before. They are featuring a very unique fall-themed menu showcasing local foods. They are collaborating with G3food4All to create a unique dining experience for you and your friends to enjoy.

This event will take place at the Pierson 319 Building in downtown St. Johns on November 12, 2023. Doors will open at 3 p.m., dinner served at 4 p.m. and you’ll have a neat souvenir to take home with you along with a lot of fun memories, and prize giveaways.
Sparrow Clinton Hospital receives award
Sparrow Clinton Hospital’s Wound Care Services has received RestorixHealth’s highest achievement, the Wound Center Excellence Award, for meeting or exceeding national benchmarks for care.
The Wound Center of Excellence Award distinguishes centers that have demonstrated exceptional success by meeting or exceeding clinical and operational benchmarks in several categories, including for healing and for having a patient satisfaction rate of 96% or higher.
“This achievement reaffirms our mission through our partnership with RestorixHealth to improve the health and quality of life for those in our community with wounds,” said Mariah Hesse, MSN, RN, CENP, Chief Nursing Officer, Sparrow Clinton Hospital. “We are pleased to offer such a needed service locally and proud to be recognized for the outstanding care provided to our patients.”
Wound Care Services Sparrow Clinton is dedicated to optimizing outcomes and preventing lower limb loss in patients with non-healing wounds. The approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies and techniques that are proved to reduce healing time and improve healing rates.

Giving Paws hold Volunteer session November 9
Giving Paws will present the final Volunteer Information Session for 2023 on
November 9 at 6:00 p.m.

Vision Board Class coming up November 9
The Clinton County Arts Council will present Vision Board Class with Sandy Sonier on Thursday, November 9 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
Sandy will share with us the method of creating a personal vision board made of inspiring images and items. Sandy will also discuss the law of attraction and how the vision boards help create the life you want.
The class will meet at the Gallery, 215 N Clinton Ave in Saint Johns. The cost of the class will be $20.00. Sign up now.
Alzheimer’s Caregivers to meet November 6
The Alzheimer’s Disease Caregivers Support Group will be meeting on November 6 at 7 p.m. at the Clinton County Senior Center in St. Johns.
Anyone with questions or concerns about Alzheimer’s are welcome to attend. Open discussion, questions and answers with a group of understanding people

Patriot Scramble is November 11
Join your friends on November 11 at The Emerald Golf Course to raise money for the American Legion while also honoring those who have served.
Reach out to your family, friends, and/or acquaintances who have served and invite them out for a quick round of golf to commend them for their service. The cost for the 9 hole scramble is $40 per person. This includes golf, hole prizes and chili dinner

Sheriff’s Mounted Division hosts Jennings concert November 10
The Clinton County Sheriff’s Mounted Division will be hosting their annual fundraiser on November 10 at 7:00 PM at St Johns High School.
Kyle Jennings will be putting on a great show, and they all would appreciate your support.
