The Briggs District Library Christmas Village

It hasn’t been up for a few years. The Briggs District Library decided to put it up one more time. There won’t be any room to display it after the renovation. If I remember correctly, the checkout counter and an entrance will be there.

A great big thank you to Marie Geller and Kim Kellogg for helping create the scene this year.

One more chance to see Oak Street Holiday Lights Trail

The Oak Street Holiday Lights Trail at 202 E Oak St. will be running one more time on Friday, December 22 from 6:30-8:45 p.m., weather permitting.

This is a free event for the community. All that they ask is that you sign a waiver because this is on personal property. The waiver table will be open until 8:30 p.m.

There is no public restroom so please be prepared for that, but the line does move fast so it’s not too long of a wait. All ages are welcome.

Historical Society’s Calendar still available

Buy it for the calendar; keep it for the vintage photos.
