Dennis C. Bunker
Dennis C. Bunker, age 71 and a resident of St. Johns, Michigan, died at his home on July 25, 2023 after having been diagnosed with cancer weeks ago.
Dennis was born in Evart, Michigan on March 3, 1952, the son of Amos and Pauline (Haney) Bunker, and grew up in Shepherd, Michigan. After serving his country in the U.S. Army he made his career with General Motors in Lansing. He loved watching U of M football and was always there to help his family and friends who loved him dearly.
He leaves his son, Andrew (Jessica) Bunker, daughter, Trina (Brandon) Garcia and their late mother, Kari; grandson, Parker; sisters, Susie (Jack) Burton and Debbie Bunker; brothers, Neil Bunker and Randy (the late Gail) Bunker; sisters-in-law, Connie, Carol, Barb, many nieces and nephews for whom he was their favorite uncle Denny, and many other extended family members and dear friends.
He was preceded in death by brothers, Jerry (Carol) Bunker and Ron (Barb) Bunker.
A Graveside Service with Military Honors will be held at Chippewa Township Cemetery, 8240 E. Broomfield Road, Mt. Pleasant, on Saturday, July 29, at 11 AM.
