Priority groups 1 A and 1B consist of some essential workers and everyone over the age of 65.

The supply of COVID-19 vaccine remains limited. As a result, they are not able to schedule as many vaccination clinics as they would like. If you have tried to schedule an appointment from the website, you know that the remaining January clinics are full. They will schedule February clinics as soon as more vaccine is received. Be sure to watch your inbox for updates.

Why is MMDHD not able to schedule more clinics?

The amount of vaccine coming into Mid Michigan District Health Department’s three counties, Clinton, Gratiot, and Montcalm, is fairly small; and the majority of it is going to the hospitals.

What does this mean for those who are eligible to receive the vaccine?
