They are offering this through the federal program called &#8220;Meet Up and Eat Up.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/?p=1167\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" target=\"_blank\"><font color=\"#0000CC\"><strong>School Meet Up Eat Up schedule for St. Johns Public Schools<\/strong><\/font><\/a><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>CRV invites all to an open house<\/strong> &#8211; June 26<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/crv.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"500\" height=\"350\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-1205\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Do you know what the Community Resource Volunteers in St. Johns is all about and what we do? No? Then you should know it is all about you and for you.<\/p>\n<p>Visit the facility at 304 Brush Street here in St. Johns on Tuesday night, June 26th anytime between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. and see it all. CRV will be showing off their new facility, talking about programs they currently have, where they are going and how you and your family can be involved. No matter your age, there are things for you.<\/p>\n<p>CRV would like to get to know you and show you what they have to offer and how you can benefit from the services and resources. If you have known about CRV in the past, they have recently expanded their offices and they would like to show it all to you.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Community Christian to host VBS<\/strong> &#8211; June 25-28<\/p>\n<p>Community Christian Church located at 400 E. State Street in St. Johns is hosting a free 4-day Vacation Bible School event at the church Monday through Thursday, June 25-28 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. No need to pre-register, simply register when you show up.<\/p>\n<p>The week will end with lots of fun as kids get to dunk their favorite VBS staff in the dunk tank. Art #2: Grades 4-6, Wednesday, 6\/27, 3-4pm. Science #1: Grades 1-3, Wednesday, 7\/11, 3-4pm. Science #2: Grades 4-6, Wednesday, 7\/18, 3-4pm. Math #1: Grades 4-6, Wednesday, 7\/25, 3-4pm. Math #2: Grades 1-3, 8\/1, 3-4pm. Registration for all S.A.M. programs is required and is open.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tales to Tails<\/em> &#8211; Free Reading Program with 15 minute sessions for children ages 6-12 to practice reading aloud to Ruger, a certified therapy dog. After sharing a chapter or two each week we will\u2026Let The Games Begin! There will be an assortment of interactive games that we will play individually and as teams. There will be refreshments each week as well. The programs are on Monday evenings, August 6 &#8211; August 27, 7 &#8211; 7:45 pm. Mark your calendars for this program where professional musicians will be drumming, singing, dancing &#038; interacting with the audience while exploring Africa and Caribbean contributions to the world of music. No registration is required for this FREE family program.<\/p>\n<p><em>Toddler Storytime<\/em> &#8211; Children ages 2-3 (with a participating adult) are invited to join us on Wednesday mornings at 10:30-11:00 from August 1st to August 22nd. We will be taking the time to learn all that we can about Goodnight Moon. The program will include stories, music, movement and crafts. Registration is required and will be begin Tuesday, July 3rd.<\/p>\n<p><em>Garden Buddies<\/em>&#8211; Grow with us in the Rae Johnson&#8217;s Children&#8217;s Garden, where will learn about what is takes to grow the food we love to eat. Children ages 7-12 are invited to join us for our second session of Garden Buddies on Tuesday evenings starting July 31st and going through August 21st. We will be meeting behind the library for this program from 5-6:30pm. Registration is required is will be open Tuesday, July 3rd.<\/p>\n<p><em>Tween Makerspace<\/em> &#8211; Tweens ages 9-12 can join us on Tuesday, July 10 at 6:30p.m. for some hands-on fun, when we will design and create roller coasters using everyday household objects. Registration for this free program is required, and is now available.<\/p>\n<p><em>Library Closure<\/em> &#8211; The library will be closed on Wednesday, July 4 in observance of the Independence Day holiday.
