Most Holy Trinity Parish Festival coming up July 24-25<\/strong><\/p>\n

Most Holy Trinity Parish in Fowler has scheduled their Parish Festival for Saturday and Sunday, July 24-25.<\/p>\n

Events include:<\/p>\n

Saturday<\/em>
\n7:30 a.m. – 5K
\n8 a.m. Volleyball
\n11 a.m.-8 p.m. Food Trucks
\n4:30 Mass
\n5:30 p.m. Touch A Truck and Live Music by Jared and Joyce Feldpausch<\/p>\n

Sunday<\/em>
\n8 and 10 a.m. Mass
\n8 a.mm 3 On 3
\n11 a.m. – 8 p.m. Food Trucks<\/p>\n

The Parade begins at 11:30 a.m. on Sunday<\/p>\n

Mint Festival is August 13-15<\/strong><\/p>\n

The St. Johns Mint Festival parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, August 14 starting at 10 a.m. at Oakview Elementary School.<\/p>\n

Cornhole Tournaments at the Mint Festival<\/em><\/p>\n

Cornhole is coming to the Mint Festival.<\/p>\n

Events include the following:<\/p>\n

Saturday, August 14:
\n– Social singles ($10) and Competitive Singles ($20). Registration begins at 9:00 a.m. Bags fly at 10:00 a.m.
\n– Social Doubles ($20) and Competitive Doubles ($40). Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. Bags fly at Noon or slightly later if singles are still going on.<\/p>\n

Sunday, August 15:
\n– 8 game switcholio with a new partner each game ($10). Registration begins at 11:00 a.m. Bags fly at Noon.
\n– Blind Draw ($10). Registration begins at 2:00 p.m. Bags fly when Switcholio ends.<\/p>\n

There will be other side games taking place as well including airmail raffle, 4 bagger torch and maybe more.<\/p>\n

Free meals every Tuesday<\/strong><\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

His Cup Runneth Over, a free meal ministry, will be doing free<\/em> meals every Tuesday starting Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Free meals will be given out from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at First Congregational Church, 100 Maple Ave., St. Johns. They will be located in the back southwest corner of the parking lot.<\/p>\n

Everyone is welcome to come, and it is free for all who come. For those unable to pick up lunch, please call to arrange for delivery by Monday.<\/p>\n

Annual Bike to Build event returns August 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

The event mid-Michigan cyclists look forward to returns for its 12th year on Saturday, August 7.<\/p>\n

Bike to Build will again start from Northpointe Community Church, 505 E. Webb Road, DeWitt.<\/p>\n

The ride, which regularly attracts cyclists of all ages, gives riders a choice of routes between 20, 35, 50 and 75 miles and everywhere in between, all in one day.<\/p>\n

The $35 entry fee includes access to up to five rest stops and lunch.<\/p>\n

The event is a major annual fundraiser for Habitat. All proceeds further the mission of providing safe, decent and affordable housing to people in need through its housebuilding, critical home repair and wheelchair ramp programs. To learn more, call 989-227-1771, option 3.<\/p>\n

Superhero 5K Registration is Open<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Voice for Clinton County’s Children is looking forward to our 8th Annual Superhero 5K Run, Walk, or Fly! on Saturday, September 25 at the St. Johns City Park.<\/p>\n

Proceeds from our 5K supports their essential services for Clinton County children and youth who have experienced human trafficking, neglect, physical abuse, and\/or sexual assault.<\/p>\n

They remain optimistic that they will host the event in person with a virtual option. Safety guidelines will be followed.<\/p>\n
