Arts Council holds 20% Off Sale Friday, December 9<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you to the American Legion for the great Children’s Party. Special shout out to your Santa. According to Paula Beck ,his Ho, Ho, Hos were the best ever.<\/p>\n

Good News Kitchen offers free lunches on Tuesdays<\/strong><\/p>\n

Thank you, Toni Zimmerman, for making such an amazing and thoughtful cake for the Good News Kitchen 1st annual Appreciation Dinner. <\/em><\/p>\n

Good News Kitchen, a ministry of St. John’s Lutheran Church, serves free lunches on Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. The St. John’s Lutheran Church is located at 511 E. Sturgis St. in St. Johns, the corner of Business 27 and Sturgis St.<\/p>\n

You may stop by and grab a free lunch to go for yourself, your family, a friend or a neighbor. Meals are free for everyone, and all are welcome to come although donations are always accepted and appreciated.<\/p>\n

If you have questions or want to order ahead for pick up call 989-224-6796. Look for the signs and come to the west side entrance to get your free meals.<\/p>\n

Recycle old string lights<\/strong><\/p>\n

After you deck the halls be sure to recycle those nonworking\/burned out holiday string lights.<\/p>\n

Greater Laingsburg Recyclers is accepting: Holiday string lights, wrapping paper and holiday cards for recycling.<\/p>\n

See you at the next Community Recycling Drive on December 10 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.<\/p>\n
