Lions fundraiser is March 6<\/strong><\/p>\n

Dine at Culvers of DeWitt Monday March 6 from 5-9 p.m. and they will donate a percentage of all sales to the St. Johns Lions Club.<\/p>\n

No flyer or code needed. Simply drive thru, dine in or carryout; all are included. The St. Johns Lions Club thanks you for your support.<\/p>\n

It is Friday fish fry time again <\/strong><\/p>\n

During Lent the St. Johns K of C 3281 is sharing this year’s Fish Fry Schedule<\/p>\n

A limited menu will be available from 4:00 to 6:30 p.m. on Fridays March 3, 10, 17, 24 and 31<\/p>\n

Meals will be $15.00 each (cash\/check only)<\/p>\n

Limited Menu includes:
\nBaked Fish with baked potato or Fried Fish with French Fries
\nSides Include:
\nGreen beans, coleslaw, applesauce, and dinner roll.<\/p>\n

Public welcome, no advance orders, Drive thru only. Columban Hall is located at 1108 North US-27 in St. Johns.<\/p>\n

Free MI Bridges Community event on March 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

Clinton Great Start and MDHHS are co-hosting a free MI Bridges Community Event on March 8, 2023 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Clinton County RESA, 1013 South U.S. 27 in St. Johns across from McDonald’s. Registration is not required.<\/p>\n

You’ll hear about the MI Bridges online portal for Michigan residents to apply for and manage MDHHS assistance programs: Medicaid, Food, Cash, Child Day Care or State Emergency Relief. Find and explore resources, too.<\/p>\n

Community Partner Navigators will be available as needed to assist individuals in creating a MI Bridges account and walk you through the features to manage your case. Bring your smartphone or laptop for real-time help.<\/p>\n

Solid Waste Planning meeting is April 11<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Solid Waste Planning Committee will be holding a public meeting on Tuesday, April 11, 2023 at 6:00 p.m. in the Clinton County Courthouse Board of Commissioners Room to continue reviewing and discussing two requests to amend the Clinton County Solid Waste Management Plan (SWMP).<\/p>\n

The requests include
\n1) one additional county to the SWMP for waste import and export and
\n2) amend the total area sited for use at the Grand River Avenue landfill located at 8550 West Grand River Highway, Grand Ledge, Michigan.<\/p>\n

Draft amendments will be reviewed at the April 11th meeting and then made available for public comment once the committee agrees on a draft. Copies of the proposed draft amendments will be made available to all municipal offices, on the Clinton County website www.clinton-county.org<\/span><\/a> and through email or regular mail by request.<\/p>\n

Duplain Church of Christ to host Easter Fair April 1<\/strong><\/p>\n

On Saturday, April 1 the Duplain Church of Christ from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m.<\/p>\n

The event will feature and Egg Hunt, Inflatables, Petting Zoo, Concessions and more.<\/p>\n

Everything is free. Duplain Church of Christ is located at 5565 E. Colony Road north and east of St. Johns.<\/p>\n

Pick Up & Browse N’ Buy will be held at the Clinton County Fair Grounds Friday, April 21 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and on Saturday, April 22 from 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Orders are due by March 13.<\/p>\n

10th Almost Annual Superhero 5K coming up April 29<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Superhero 5K coming up April 29 supports The Voice for Clinton County’s Children’s work on behalf of Clinton County children and youth. Your participation ensures victims of child abuse have a voice.<\/p>\n
