To provide a local take on the national designation of the first Tuesday following Thanksgiving Day as Giving Day, we are proposing: Giving Day, Make It Local. To support this effort please, find below information for a few local non-profits in our community. Please review the listing for Giving Day, Make It Local.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving in the U.S. and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday, #GivingTuesday kicks off the charitable season when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving.<\/p>\n<p>One of the best ways to get involved is in your own community.
