Wells passed away earlier this year on January 28, 2018.<\/p>\n<p>His wife Nancy, his daughter Mindi and his two sons Brandy and Corey met with club members for lunch, and then they  drove out to The Voice for Clinton County Children\u2019s office. There the Club placed a small memorial in honor of Judge Wells. Dick was a person who lived the Rotary motto \u201cService Above Self\u201d.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Festival of Lights had something for everyone<\/strong><br \/>\nby Maralyn Fink<\/p>\n<p>I stopped down at the Festival of Lights on Friday, and this is what I found.<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MjT9ouJafoM\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>It was a very cold and blistery afternoon but fun!<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Fill a Cop Car, 2018<\/strong><br \/>\nby Maralyn Fink<\/p>\n<p><iframe loading=\"lazy\" width=\"560\" height=\"315\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/OMGoxoZ8NqE\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p>On Saturday I visited Kroger&#8217;s where our local police had their Fill A Cop Car. So here is what I found there.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Museum features antique table settings<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/museumtable.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"407\" height=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3016\" \/><\/p>\n<p>The dining room table at the Paine-Gillam-Scott House Museum features dishes from the museum&#8217;s collection. The table is covered with a lace tablecloth with amber serving pieces, gold rimmed goblets and place settings. These are just a few of the beautiful serving dishes you can see when touring the dining room.<\/p>\n<p>In the kitchen, the table is set with a 1907 china chocolate set, hand-painted by Abby Corbin, who was taught china painting by Mrs. Rose Gillam.<\/p>\n<p>The museum is open Wednesdays 2- 6 p.m. and Sundays 1-4 p.m. through Sunday, December 16.<\/p>\n<p>The Clinton County Historical Museum is located west of the courthouse, 106 Maple St., St. Johns, Michigan. Cass St. in downtown St. Johns, just south of the courthouse.<\/p>\n<p>General Admission Tickets will be sold at the door \u2013 Adults $10, Seniors and Students $5. Kids under 12 Free.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Brass Band Presents Holiday Concert Sunday, December 16<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/stjindy.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/12\/bigband.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"455\" height=\"450\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3018\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Mountain Town Brass, mid-Michigan&#8217;s newest British-style brass band, will perform a holiday concert Sunday December 16, at 7:00 p.m. in the Wilson Center Auditorium, 101 W. Cass Street, St. Johns, MI<\/p>\n<p>Admission is free. Donations will be accepted to help defray concert costs and help towards the ongoing Wilson Auditorium renovation project.<\/p>\n<p>The festive sounds of brass will fill the air with your Holiday favorites and classics at the Wilson Center in the capable hands of Mid-Michigan&#8217;s newest British brass band, Mountain Town Brass.<\/p>\n<p>This unique program features settings of familiar carols, popular holiday favorites, and majestic classics wrapped up in a variety of styles, Medieval to Modern.
