The company also plans to bring a new line from the recently acquired Brainbee, currently located in Parma, Italy.<\/p>\n<p>The project is expected to generate a total private investment of $2.9M and create 24 jobs and is the recipient of a $186,000 Michigan Business Development Program performance-based grant.<\/p>\n<p>Michigan was chosen over competing sites in Tennessee and Mexico. MAHLE is a leading international development partner and supplier to the automotive industry as well as a pioneer and technology driver for the mobility of the future.<\/p>\n<p>Rich Wolf, general manager MAHLE Service Solutions, said \u201cthe decision to relocate to St. Johns was simple because it is already a well-established, Tier 1 MAHLE facility.\u201d Wolf says \u201cin addition, the move allows MAHLE Service Solutions to have its industry leading brands located under one roof and a centralized location for efficient customer service and support.\u201d \u201cThe move to an award-winning company facility will streamline efficiency for the Service Solutions division and allow us to continue to offer the same high level of quality and reliability that people have come to expect from our service equipment,\u201d Wolf said. \u201cThis new facility reinforces our market offerings that provide outstanding customer value, less downtime and a low total cost of ownership over the lifetime of each product.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The City is very excited to learn of this new development,&#8221; noted Eric Hufnagel, mayor of St. Johns. &#8220;We are very proud of the success MAHLE is having in St. Johns and we believe this is owed to the talent and commitment of all its employees.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is great news for St. Johns and surrounding mid-Michigan communities, \u201csaid Clinton County Economic Alliance President &amp; CEO Dru L.
