SJPD open house celebrates new building November 7<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please join the St. Johns Police Department on Thursday, November 7 from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. for a ribbon cutting and open house celebrating their new building.<\/p>\n

There will be a ribbon cutting ceremony at 4:00 p.m. followed by light refreshments and guided tours of the new building.<\/p>\n

The new St. Johns Police Department headquarters are located at 409 S. Whittemore Street, Business US-27,<\/p>\n

SJHS Theatre presents Newsies November 8,9,10<\/strong><\/p>\n

St. Johns High School’s theatre program is solely funded by ticket sales and donor contributions. To support their future endeavors they are looking for sponsors for this year’s high school presentation of Newsies on November 8, 9 and 10 and the middle school musicals coming up April 24, 25, 26.<\/p>\n

Over 100 kids participate. Nearly 5000 people will attend performances.<\/p>\n

Theatre builds Confidence -Cooperation- Self-Esteem – Dedication Creativity -Imagination – Love For The Arts.<\/p>\n

One Last Chapter with Miss Marie is November 8<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Briggs District Library will celebrate over 35 years of story time with Miss Marie on Friday, November 8 from 3 – 9:30 p.m. This fun-filled program includes games, crafts, food, entertainment and a few other surprises<\/p>\n

All ages are welcome.<\/p>\n

The schedule includes:
\n3-4 p.m. – Cupcakes and Coffee\/Tea
\n4-5 p.m. – Obstacle Course
\n5-7 p.m. – Games
\n6-7 p.m. – Pizza Dinner (requires registration)
\n6-8 p.m. – Ms. Sharon Face Painting
\n7-8 p.m. – Story Time with Miss Marie
\n8-8:45 p.m. – Spoon Man! Performance
\n9:00 p.m. – Songs,Stories, and S\u2019mores around the campfire<\/p>\n
