Don&#8217;t be surprised if you hear some music playing as you pull into the parking lot.<\/p>\n<p>Big Boy will donate 20% of all revenues during the timeframe of 5-8 p.m. and certainly will be happy to accept additional donations. These funds will be used to defray the cost of a badly needed new equipment trailer for the band.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Legion to host fundraiser dinner February 22<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>On Saturday, February 22 American Legion Post 153 at 110 E. Walker St. in St. Johns will host a fundraising dinner from 4:30 p.m. -7:00.p.m. (or until gone)<\/p>\n<p>The menu will include: Prime Rib wtIh au gratin potatoes, vegetable, salad, roll. dessert. Beverage not Included.<\/p>\n<p>\u00b7Adults 12 and over $15.00 (one slice) $22.50 (two slices) 6-12 $10.00; under 6 $3.00<\/p>\n<p>Open to the public. You do not need to be a Legion Family member to attend.<\/p>\n<p>50\/50 raffle drawing at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Next dinner will be held on March 21, 2020 4:30 p.m. &#8211; 7:00 p.m.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Lenten Fish Fries begin February 28<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>The annual Knights of Columbus Lenten Fish Fry will be offered beginning February 28. Subsequent dinners will be held on March 6, 13, 20, 27 and April 3.<\/p>\n<p>There will be Baked and Fried Fish with all the fixings available for $12. The public is welcome from 4 p.m. &#8211; 7 p.m. Take Outs available (989) 224-1225. Columbian Hall 1108 N. US-27 in St. Johns.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>GVSU Fall 2019 Dean&#8217;s List<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Grand Valley State University announces the names of students who were placed on the dean\u2019s list for the Fall 2019 semester concluding in December. The list includes those students who have maintained a 3.5 grade point average and been enrolled in a minimum of 12 credits. Visit <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fhcmichigan.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"><span style=\"color: #0000cc;\">www.fhcmichigan.org<\/span><\/a> or call 877-979-fair.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Moolenaar Announces 2020 Congressional Art Competition<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Congressman John Moolenaar invites all high school students from Michigan&#8217;s Fourth Congressional District to enter their art in the 2020 Congressional Art Competition.<\/p>\n<p>The winning student from the Fourth District will have his or her art displayed in the U.S. Capitol for a year and receive two round-trip tickets to travel to Washington, D.C for an annual event with Congressional Art Competition winners from around the country.<\/p>\n<p>Regional winners from the Fourth District will have the opportunity for their art to be displayed in Congressman Moolenaar&#8217;s Midland and Cadillac offices.<\/p>\n<p>The entry deadline for this year\u2019s contest is April 3.
