If you need delivery call or text 517-388-2005 or 989-544-5764 by 11 a.m.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Backpack Giveaway at TCC July 25<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Students in St. Johns are about to benefit from a national backpack giveaway.<\/p>\n<p>TCC corporate stores are handing out backpacks on Sunday July 26.<\/p>\n<p>Because the St. Johns location is a private locally owned store, they are not open on Sundays, so their backpack give away will be on Saturday July 25 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. or while supplies last.<\/p>\n<p>One backpack per child, and the child must be present. There are no rain checks.<\/p>\n<p>So go on out and get a free backpack with school supplies.<\/p>\n<p>In case you don\u2019t know where TCC is, they are the local Verizon store in the Southgate Plaza next to Little Caesars.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>Project Connect coming in August<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>It is that time of year again.<\/p>\n<p>This year Project Connect is going to look different. This year&#8217;s Project Connect (back to school event) will be a road tour.<\/p>\n<p>The goal is always to help the community as much as possible, but this year they also need to make sure they do everything they can to keep everyone healthy.<\/p>\n<p>Due to Covid-19 organizers are breaking up the large in-person event into several smaller drive-up events.<\/p>\n<p>The big change for Project Connect this year is that they are asking people to please pre-register for Project Connect. They need as many people who plan to attend to register ahead of time.
