A carnival will be at the Mint Festival this year. Family Fun Tyme Amusements will be located on the city softball field off Sickles Street, just before you enter the county fairgrounds. They will have approximately 10 rides and a few games. The cost for a day arm band at the festival will be $15. Prior to the festival you can get an arm band at the Chamber of Commerce for $12 (until 170 are gone).
Pageant
The Mint Festival weekend will kick off as usual with the Pageant on Wednesday, August 11, 2010. Tickets are now on sale at the Chamber office for $8. All tickets are for general seating and available first come first served.
Gamefest
Young teens have something else to do at the festival this year. Tip Top Entertainment, a Michigan based company will have computer game stations set up on Saturday & Sunday from 1-4 so kids can participate in mini tournaments and play games like Guitar Hero, RockBand, DanceDanceRevolution, and SuperSmash Brothers. Gamefest will be located in the open pavilion in the Flea Market area at the north end of the park. The time you will be able to play depends on the number that show up.
