Clinton County is fortunate to have an extremely well qualified candidate running for District Judge. Michael Clarizio has the experience, judgment and most importantly the temperament.
Michael has over twenty three years experience in handling matters in the Clinton County District Court. His experience has taught him what works and what improvements can be made in that court.
Judgement and temperament are crucial in selecting a judge Michael has both of these qualities. He will treat all who come before him with respect crafting a judgment that meets the needs of the case before him.
Peter D. Houk

What a great country we live in that we have the freedom and privilege to vote. Sitting down to write this letter made me think of how important it is to cast my vote this year.
I have lived and worked in Clinton County for majority of my life, the last 30 years. My husband and I raised our daughter in the small town of Westphalia where she attended Pewamo-Westphalia Public schools. Over the last 30 years, I have met numerous people across Clinton County working as a pediatric occupational therapist in education. Shannon Schlegel is one of those unforgettable people.
Shannon is an attorney, wife, mother, colleague, community leader, volunteer, church member, friend, and so much more. Personally, I know Shannon is vested in Clinton County and already has made a positive impact on the community. She is knowledgeable, listens, has strong moral principles and values, demonstrates integrity, and will be a fair and impartial judge.
Shannon Schlegel has the “backbone” to be our next 65A District Court Judge. On Election Day, we must all decide for ourselves who we will vote for. As for me, I’m casting my vote this year for Shannon Schlegel.

I have been an attorney in Clinton County for 25 years. I have witnessed Shannon Schlegel, in person, represent many clients. I find Ms. Schlegel to be well prepared, knowledgeable and a person of enormous integrity. Ms. Schlegel is the candidate with the necessary experience to be the next district court judge. For 18 months, she was a court appointed attorney for misdemeanor cases, has represented clients as plaintiff or defendant in landlord/tenant cases, represented clients in mortgage foreclosures, and collections. She also has experience in district court preliminary examinations, and district court general civil cases.
The next district court judge must possess this variety of experience to be effective. Shannon Schlegel has that experience. Join me in supporting Shannon Schlegel for Clinton County District Court Judge.

Schlegel is the right choice for 65A District Court Judge.
I did not know Shannon Schlegel before I went to the Candidate Forum on September 30. I had already decided to vote for Mike Clarizio. However, after listening to her and observing her, I changed my mind. She articulated her background in a calm and respectful manner. She is experienced all areas of district court. She has diversity in her law practice. Moreover, she is committed to ensuring the fair treatment of children in the juvenile and criminal justice system.
I urge you to join me in voting for Shannon Schlegel this coming Nov. 4th.
