Opens Council’s holiday season
A myriad offering of gift ideas will be part of the Clinton County Arts Council’s Sunday Event when the works of 58 artists are featured during the regular monthly showing, November 7th. “Every one of our member artists will have items on display,” explained Director Mike Muehlenbeck, “and viewers will be thrilled with the gifting opportunities.”
Muehlenbeck went on to cite the assorted categories represented, ranging from paintings in various media to wooden carvings and glass ware. Other offerings include jewelry, pottery, quilted items, woven specialties and many other artistic items making for creative and fascinating gifts for holiday or everyday remembrances.
“This is an unusual Sunday Event,” Muehlenbeck said, “in that every one of our artist members will be featured. The Gallery will be bursting with a festive excitement and a wonderful opening to the holidays.” He went on to encourage browsing time at the Gallery to share in the wide selection and reasonable prices.
As a usual feature, the November Sunday Event, sponsored by John E. Wieber, P.C. runs from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. and refreshments will be served. The Gallery is located at 215 N. Clinton Ave. and details of any event or Arts Council activity may be learned by calling 989 224-2429.
