The St. Johns Soccer Club would like to thank Bee’s Cheverolet and Jeff Feldpausch for their continued support of the St. Johns’ youth soccer program. During half time of the SJ High School District game, Jeff Feldpausch, owner of Bee’s Chevrolet, presented a $500 check to St. Johns Soccer Club’s representatives, Fran Bergstrom, President; Linda Fox, Treasurer; and Dave Carpenter, Board Member.

The St. Johns Soccer Club is the third largest community soccer program in the Capitol Area Soccer League. Over 180 children participate in the USSF soccer program. The USSF and AYSO programs teach skill development, team work, physical fitness and, the most important part, having fun playing soccer. St. Johns’ AYSO and USSF soccer programs exists because of the volunteerism of the St. Johns Soccer Club board, coaches and parents.
The Soccer Club is initiating a large fund raising program for the purpose of replacing playing fields, that will be lost because of the expansion of High School athletic fields, that will be needed for league games and hosting tournaments and invitational’s.
Bee’s Chevrolet and Jeff Feldpausch’s generosity also includes donations of Soccer kits for area teams that include soccer balls, cones, ball bags and T-shirts for players; being a major sponsor of the 4 on 4 Tournament that was held this year; and are currently a Chevrolet representative for providing a new Chevrolet vehicle as a raffle prize for the program. Donations for the program are always welcomed.
