Toddler Storytime and more
“Move It-Move It!” is the theme for this spring’s Toddler Storytime. The program will feature stories, creative movement and music and is designed for children ages two and three with a participating adult. Registration is required and begins on Wednesday March 2nd for Wednesday mornings March 30 -May 4 10:00-10:30 or 11:00-11:30 or Thursday evenings March 31 – May 5 from 6:30-7:00pm. Get Caught Reading
The Library is having a fundraiser entitled “Get Caught Reading” during National Library Week. Submit your cutest reading snapshot. All ages can participate. Pictures can be turned into the Library during the month of March. There is a $5 entry fee per photo and a limit of one entry per family. The Library will take the first 26 entries and all pictures must be approved by Library staff. The picture should be no larger than 5×7. Include a self-addressed stamped envelope if you want your picture returned. The pictures will be on display to kick off National Library week. Library patrons will vote with money for their favorite photo April 10-30. The photo with the most votes will win a prize. All proceeds from the fundraiser will go towards Children’s Programming at the Library.
Knights and Ladies and Dragons Oh My!
Tweens join us for a medieval adventure on Monday, April 4th from 7:00-8:00pm. The program will feature a craft, game and refreshments. Registration is required and open to all tweens, ages 9-12, beginning Monday March 7th.
March is Reading Month…”Bedtime Eggshaustion”
There are some openings available in the evening program so call or stop in to register for this evening of free family fun. Besides some eggstra great stories with milk and cookies there will be games to play like “Scrambled Egg Relay”, “Egg Roll”, and “Yolk Toss” A craft will also be available to make and bring your camera to catch a moment with a special guest who will be visiting the library that evening. Mark your calendar for Tuesday, March 15th, 7-8pm.
