Arts Council Sunday gathering
Weddings, graduations, warm weather activities. What better time to consider a special gift to commemorate happy events? Especially when that gift could be a personalized clock, bearing a photo, verse or artwork recalling the enjoyable occasion.
An open display offering a variety of samples of such creations will be presented by artist Richard Pearson, Sunday June 12 during the Clinton County Arts Gallery’s monthly “Sunday Event.” Mr. Pearson works with compact discs to fashion personalized clocks reflecting time in an amazing mixture of colors, designs and circumstances.
His works include representations for sports, birthdays, showers, weddings and graduations, to name a few, along with family or individual special orders.
As is customary, the Sunday gathering will be held from 1 pm to 3 pm featuring tempting refreshments. The June open house is sponsored by First Bank.
These monthly events and the many other activities of the Arts Council are made possible through a cooperative funding base involving membership dues, local contributions and support from the partnership of Michigan Council for Arts and Cultural Affairs and the National Endowment for the Arts.
