Auxiliary Chicks for Charity Outing
With a little over two weeks remaining, members of Sparrow Clinton Hospital Auxiliary are putting the final pieces together for their fourth annual Chicks for Charity all-women golf outing set for June 23 at the Emerald. And in that brief span of time, they hope to fill a few remaining hole sponsorships and add to the growing list of golfers and the deadline for sign ups in either category is Wednesday June 15.

Doing some preliminary tabulations are, from left, co-chairs Kathie Clock, Chery Goff and and Robin Ingalls.
An incentive to golfers is the possible prize of $5,000 for a hole in one on number 8 hole. As in previous outings, Allaby and Brewbaker Insurance is again sponsoring this prize. If a hole in one is made on any other hole, prizes include a choice of Nike driver or a set of clubs; a 32” Panasonic LCD TV and $500 VISA gift card.
Confirmed sponsorships include a pre-tee time Breakfast donated by Firstbank of St. Johns; Lunch at the Turn, courtesy of Agro-Culture Liquid Fertilizers; a Deli-Buffet at the end of the day offered by McKenzie & Crosby Insurance.
Businesses interested in participating as hole sponsors – at $50 per hole – may contact either co-chair listed below. Golf registration is $70 per player, $280 per 4 person team.
