Flag Football and Fall Softball Leagues

The City of St. Johns Recreation Department is accepting team registrations for its flag football, fall co-ed and men’s softball leagues. Registration packets and more information are available at the City offices between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. located in the Clinton County Courthouse or online at www.cityofsaintjohnsmi.com/fall-leagues. The deadline to register for the fall leagues is 5:00 p.m. Friday, August 3, 2012.
The flag football league will play on Wednesday nights with games starting on August 29th. Games will be played on the main softball field at the City Park. The league is limited to eight teams.
Team fees are $250.00 per team plus $8.00 for each City resident and 16.00 for each non-City resident on the roster and a $5.00 capital improvement fee per person.
The men’s league will play on Tuesday nights starting on August 28th and the co-ed league will play on Monday nights starting on August 27th. All games will be played on the main softball field at the City Park. Leagues are limited to eight teams, if more teams sign up than can be accommodated preference will be given to teams with City of St. Johns residents or sponsors.
Team fees are $125.00 per team plus $8.00 for each City resident and 16.00 for each non-City resident on the roster and a $5.00 capital improvement fee per person. Each team is responsible to pay an $11.00 per game umpire fee before the game.
